The effects of cannabis are caused by chemical compounds in the cannabis plant, including 400 different cannabinoids such as tetrahydrocannabinol (THC),[1] which allow its drug to have various psychological and physiological effects on the human body. Different plants of the genus Cannabis contain different and often unpredictable concentrations of THC and other cannabinoids and hundreds of other molecules that have a pharmacological effect,[2][3] so that the final net effect cannot reliably be foreseen.
Acute effects while under the influence can sometimes include euphoria.[4][5] Although some assert that cannabidiol (CBD), another cannabinoid found in cannabis in varying amounts, may alleviate the adverse effects of THC that some users experience,[6] little is known about CBD effects on humans.[7][8]
In the United States, medical cannabis research is limited by federal restrictions.[9] Smoking any substance could possibly carry similar risks as smoking tobacco due to carcinogens in all smoke,[10] [11][12] and the ultimate conclusions on these factors are disputed.[13][14][15][16]
Cannabis use disorder is defined as a medical diagnosis in the fifth revision of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5).[17]

As someone who works in the cannabis industry, I can tell you that while there are some truthful facts in this video, not everything is accurate. 1) Smoke of any kind can be harmful for your lungs. However as mentioned in the video, nobody has been able to link cannabis smoke to cancer. So I'd say its accurate on that segment. 2) I have not had any noticeable problems with my heart rate while high. Granted, when I'm high as balls, I'm not focused on my heart rate. Im focused on getting up the stairs to the refrigerator.
Just like any substance, it can be abused. Smoking it every night is fine. Smoking it, and being high 24/7 is abuse of the substance.

I'm 28, smoking since like 14 and almost every day since about 17-18, I don't smoke as much now and just grow my own. This video has multiple inaccuracies, also it's Delta-9-Tetrohydrocannabinol, you also get Delta-8, which has less THC and more CBD for a more medicinal or light feel. It's helped me a lot, I was put on Quetiapine and tricyclic anti-depressants at 13 or so (you need to be 18 for benzos here) and I couldn't perform in life, I was a zombie and smoking helped me get off any meds with in a month or two.
Also, as much as it's a "gateway" drug, just remember that a door has 2 directions you can go. It's helped me get off a lot of different things in life and all of the emotional help with it makes a blessing. It's free too, you don't have to grow indoor with lights, just grow some and look after them and if you feel like it you can get some nutrients or whatever, it's just a bit of work. Then you have buds you know are "clean" and you can make hash with the rest and whatever you have after you can make edibles (cannabutter, etc).

Today at 52 yrs old I would be a paranoid mess if i took 2 or 3 hits off some good weed. I'd have to guess that some of the people who hold that opinion weren't around at the time and have picked up tales about it. I can remember there was some pretty powerful weed in the past that could knock your socks off. I'm not knocking what's around today, but the idea that weed in the 1960s (or earlier) were weak leads me to think some people don't have the slightest idea of what they're talking about. I drank AND smoked weed for 35 year's, I quit alcohol almost 20 year's ago after it helped destroy my life. I continued smoking weed up until now at the age of 59. I started using at around the age of 12-13 and have never stopped using it, I have for the past 15 year's smoked every day all day long, because it used to help for my pain, I had a bad neck injury while in the Military and had to have surgery on it later in life and became addicted to the pain killer's and got off of them, so no more pain killer's, just the pot, only problem is I've noticed that it takes away ALL of my motivation to want to do ANYTHING and it causes my depression to become almost out of control, I have never attempted to stop smoking in my whole life except while in the Military and that was when I was a young man. I've had a heart attack and that worries me with my stent that if I keep smoking not only concentrate but just plain Bud I am going to end up causing another heart attack. They claim that pot isn't addictive physically but I have to be honest and say that in MY case yes it is, I feel sick without it. I am not the same person and I think that is partly because I have no idea how it feels to NOT be high. I like weed and I think in moderation it's fine, but I've gone WAY past that stage into a whole other realm . I gotta stop smoking for at LEAST a couple of month's to at least reboot my system because I don't get high any more from it or quit altogether. Which would leave me with no help for Pain. It's a messed up situation and quite costly also even in a legal state.

I tried it and right off the gate my heart kicked up to 160-170+. Just 5-10 mins out of the gate. It took 3 hours for my heart to slow down!! It was terrible and my mind and thoughts were racing uncontrollably.😳😳😳😳

Thanks for What? OK, I'm sorry! Thanks for the Confusion! I like how you want everyone to think, "It's Good / It's Bad" ??? All the negative things you stated, BUT, "No Heart attacks have ever been reported being caused by Cannabis" and the only reports of problems due to usage of cannabis, came from the movie..... "REEFER Madness"!!

Weed was fun for me in highschool/college. Now i’m 26 and can rarely enjoy it. Ive gone through periods where I had no anxiety whatsoever on it but recently took a massive bong rip and puked moments later cause I couldnt see straight literally saw 8 of everything lol. So I am putting down the weed for a good amount of time. Everyone is different tho. Used to enjoy it. Dont exactly know what changed for me to not enjoy it anymore 🤷🏻‍♂️

I take it you don't smoke cigs? Any change to lungs like that may cause. I myself don't smoke cigs but only weed. I have quit and came back many times and never had that reaction. Seems some have different reactions. Maybe it is because I only smoke the best which only takes very little to be high for 8 hours. One has to watch out for the low grade crap. Don't smoke that hay!
