  • Back to Hicksville Ohio for the defiance county fair truck pulls.
Returning to this track was highly anticipated after winning earlier this year. Competition was gonna be stiff, but the dually 6.0 powerstroke has made some serious headway from the first pull of the year.
We pull in both farm stock and the work stock class, bringing home some money and memories.

You are a legend. I'll be honest with you, for the last year I've been hoping to find a way to put a 12 valve Cummins in my F350. It's an 06 and needs a new heart. But after watching your videos, you have convinced me to keep the old 6.0 and make it stronger. Thanks buddy. Keep up the good work. I really dig watching your content.

The truck it a total sleeper with the truck box and the Rack Stack. It looks like you took the wrong turn going to Home Depot and ended up attached to a sled, that is, until you see the smoke coming out of those stacks. Congrats---nice pull🙂

You need to come down to battle of bluegrass series. They have a very competitive street diesel class. Also the workstock. The truck that won Hicksville workstock you will see there. Hopefully the sled will be fair.

What’s your thoughts on using a 6.0 as a tow rig that’s all mine does it does currently have a code for cylinder 8 contribution and 7 flow plugs lol

They do just fine if you maintain it religiously with quality oil (motorcraft, amsoil, schaeffers,) and motorcraft filters, stay away from rotella because it airates causing issues on the plunger side of the injectors. I build these trucks for a living and with proper maintenance and a delete they go along way. 400k on my daily, 306k on my single cab. 326k on my old dually. All 6 liters

Hey man I need some help… I’ve put all kinds of money in my 6.0. I’ve put a new hpop, new injectors, IPR, ICP, EBP, Map sensor and I dropped the tank and put a new pickup tube on. It’s still got a miss to it and it’s mainly off a cold start but after it warms up it runs fine unless you stop at a stop sign or red light and then it goes back to a lope I just put a used ficm on it tonight and it acted a little different and would run normal then go back to a lope. Sometimes after switching gears it will shake and act like it wants to die. I’m running out of ideas and I need it fixed ASAP so I can get to work

If I were in your position; check your EGR valve, unless it's terminated, then do a cylinder contribution test, and a compression test.
One of those things are bound to give you enough data to make a determination.
Does it only lope while coming to a stop? Or as you accelerate from a stop?
