    Looks great! Nice use of tools and materials. Doesn’t the inside need to be sealed ? I’ve wanted to make myself a flask for some time but haven’t figured out how to tin something closed in like a flask.

    I would be careful using brass. Most of it has lead in it that can leach especially in alcohol. That said lead free solder is also a must but I think most of it sold now days is.

    • @FlokrollProjects
      @FlokrollProjects  Před 6 lety +5

      Yes, i tried googling it, most told me it was ok. But the one that gets it is a doctor, he will have to figure it out :D

      For a good source of lead free brass is a jewelry making store.

    • @FlokrollProjects
      @FlokrollProjects  Před 6 lety

      hehe, it is a bit tricky, the best place i have found is "blikkenslagere" (metal workers for roofing and such) they usually have somelarge leftover pieces for sale. But know i think Biltema and Bauhauis have it in stock in smaller sheets. Where in Norway do you live and what are you going to make ?

    Can you pl tell me which type of welding did you use

    • @FlokrollProjects
      @FlokrollProjects  Před 5 lety +1

      Just normal solder, the type you use for soldering wires. The trick is to use soldering fluid. Makes the solder flow to the right spots

      Flokroll Projects I recommend a low heat conductor such as steel. Something with a high specific temperature.
