Artisans of his caliber are being lost. The kids want to learn X-box. The old toolmakers are aging out. The smithies are making horse shoes. These videos may help to encourage maintaining and developing the old arts and techniques for the creative individual expression and production of pleasing design incorporated into useful items. Experience with the materials properties, feel, resistance, colour, smell, is invaluable (and a safety imperative). Great show!
