- next step on my editing journey - colour grading! did you notice a difference? technical aspects aside, i had so much fun making my recipe book and i’m so glad i filmed the process. i feel like a true baker creates their own recipes and has a recipe book that their family can refer to too, so i guess i’m one step closer! i also feel like a grandma (let’s see: i sew, i bake, i crochet, i like hikes) but i’m vibing with it :)

I don't think I'm gonna hand-write all of my recipes (too much work, I have some recipes with very lengthy instructions) but I'm totally stealing the bookring and laminating ideas. The laminating idea is actually genius. My mom tapes all her recipes cut from magazines and such in a large notepad and it's become all gross from being used while cooking.

Instead of laminating suggest some other idea bcoz lamination is a costly process in my area
I bought a binder and some clear paper covers to start making a recipe book 😊
It's cheaper than laminating 😊

@@ursuchazoey i mixed some cocoa powder into half the dough to make it darker. look up pinwheel sugar cookies, and i basically followed that process with the shortbread dough.
