Went there today and Chris helped me! It's so nice to get someone who knows their stuff and willing to wait on you. LOVE THIS LITTLE SLICE OF HEAVEN ON EARTH! It was amazing and beautiful!
Very informative. If I lived in Florida I could start my own shop based on everything I learned here.

Oh my gosh. I had no idea they could be so beautiful.
Wonderful tour. I just bought two silver bromeliads from IKEA. They look great, so thankful for your tips. I haven’t had one since 1960’s and 1980’s,
An exciting and informative video displaying beautiful plants. It has given me such joy for the day. Thank you.
Fantastic tour. What a stunning facility.
Really enjoyed your tour especially my Husband who has grown Bromelids and Bonsai for many years. He is in his late 70’s now still growing them. He will forward your video to members of our local Bromeliad society. We are in New Zealand, many Bromelids he would love to grow but not the right climate conditions.👏🌈🇳🇿
Thank you!
Very beautiful! Nice tour! I am in Orlando this week!! 🌴 Next week is Naples! Maybe we can stop on the way and check them out!
great to see someone passionate about bromeliads, he has some superb plants, chapeau !
You were like a kid in a candy shop! Thanks for highlighting this beautiful plant. I left Clearwater in the early 90's with a trunkful of bromeliads from my friends mom's place. Not only have they beautified my yard for decades now, I took some into school and now they are all over there, too. They're a plant that keeps on giving.
My daddy worked at a greenhouse in the 80s that had tons of bromilead. He was the caretaker and brought a couple home. BTW, I live in the Texas Panhandle and they grew like crazy here! I have never tried them outside but I may after watching this. I can always bring them back in for the winter.
Pretty cool plant! Thanks Jack!!!

wow how lucky you are to have those. In my place, bromeliads are expensive. so i only have few, in my garden.
@@anakbukidplantscrafts242 They are expensive here, too! I don't have any now. This was many years ago when I was in my teens. I'm 60, now. I just never thought of them being able to live outside in our dry climate. If I had any, I would have to bring them in during our winter. It gets wayyy too cold here for them to survive.
wow you bought so many plants
Wonderful collection of plants
Really awesome bromeliads and great prices also!
I just purchased my first bromeliad here in Michigan. Now i know how to care for it and im hoping to get more.
Soooo interesting! Loved the tour
Fantastic tour!! thanks so much for the eye-catching color and definitely a future garden stop when in bonita springs. 😎👍🌴
Thanks Jack. What a great learning experience.
Love this video, love your enthusiasm, and thank you for the information!

Love this nursery! Outstanding plants!
amazing place, heaven for bromeliads lover
I LOVE bromelaids! I really enjoyed this video!!!
Thanks You young men
For you patience
Sometimes I get impatience as my Bromeliads drink plenty water before they bloom
Beautiful Plants.
Love these little trips that you take us on while your down in Naples. Just love everything you do Jack, whether Naples or Mackinaw. Be safe.
I love it when I get an education as well as a treat. Thank you.
Beautiful nursery such wonderful plants thanks for sharing this tour.
What a beautiful array of bromeliads. I have to wonder how Bonita Bromeliads survived Hurricane Ian this year. It would be devastating if all of those lovely plants were destroyed. I have a few of those varieties in my Highlands County garden although I don’t know enough about them to determine which ones can thrive in full sun. After watching this video I will save my palm debris & maybe even my banana plant leaves to grow the plants in. I had been using dirt. Thanks for the tour.
Loving the bromeliads !
I’ll be in the area in April and will definitely be stopping by!
Thanks for this well produced video, super well kept Bromeliad benches, some very nice hybrids and species... wish I could visit. That flood sounded bad, I hope you fixed it?
That was Awsome I have family and friends in Bonita Springs,I will spread the news . What a BEAUTIFUL nursery Thank you for sharing.
Thank you. This video talks about all the things i need to know about Bromeliads.
Beautiful and amazing place... Enjoyed watching the video... Stay safe...
Amazing 🤩
I enjoy watching this video.
So beautiful, love them, such wide variety. Just learned today that the new shoots are called pups, very interesting. I've got a few plants throwing out new pups, good lesson of the day. Thank you. 🥳🙌
I enjoyed this. Beautiful Beautiful. GOD made amazing things.
All I can say is WOW! These plants are so gorgeous! Thanks so much for sharing this with us Jack :)
I had 1 bromeliad plant at home and the flower lasted for almost a year but sadly I killed it with too much love (I overwatered it) :(
try potting one in lava rock and it will be hard to overwater it
@@bonitabromeliads Thanks for the suggestion Matthew :) Now I have to go and get a bromeliad ;)
I had no idea that there are so many different types, forms and colors. In Iowa we only see the big box store favorites. Someday I will move to Florida and grow these. They seem pretty invincible. Thanks again for another great video.
Beautiful!!!
I live in zone 10 and have many types in my yard; woven into other tropicals!
Jack is the man ... ❤️the channel.

Just bought my first broms today! Went to another place up in ft myers, but I had just heard of Bonita Bromeliads today. This place was having a sale. I just love my purchases!
wow its beautiful how i wish someday to have that plant..

What a find and so close. Thanks for the tour!
Bibergia nutens does very well here in Sacramento CA. There is some winter damage each year but they clean up easily in the spring and bloom off and on all season. I grow mine in half baskets on walls and fences. .
Cool!! had no clue there was such variety.
yes, more than 3000 and a few more found every year.
Thanks for Your patience with Bromeliads
Sometimes they just drink water and at blooms hard to come
Thank for your patience.
Old Gardener Rebecca

Thanks for this tour. As I do not live down south, I had no idea of the number of types of bromeliads and how they grow . (I also never got into cacti either, especially the ones with prickly spines!)
Those prickly spines are tough for us too~ but we love a colorful Bromeliad!
Enjoyed the tour. Amazing bromeliads.

What a great tour and lesson...............you are always on point - Thank YOU! Thanks Matt!
Gosh how stunning, sadly dont think they would like our dry, hot west coast weather but they are beautiful..
You could dry arid bromeliads from the Dykia and Puya families. Puya especially have amazing blooms that can last a whole year! Dykia comes in many colors from silver to purple.
This is an awesome video, Jack. Hope you'd do more bromeliad nursery tours. I hope they do online sales in the future.
Good video
Discovered!
Hi dear, I love your videos
Trop splendides vos plantes bizou de Nouvelle-Calédonie
im inspired
Shout out Minnesota! I’ve got neoregelias in the 507!
Probably does not do order by mail? Suggestions for here in Phoenix, AZ Sonoran Desert, sub tropical zone 9B? Some winters no freeze and when it does just for a few hours. Top three in Phoenix. I have a good deal of shade. Tropical do make it here in the sun and some in shade.
I’m so hooked on Bromeliads now! 🥰🙌🏼🙌🏼 what wattage light would you suggest for a few pups and how long should I give them light in a 24 hr period? I live on the east coast so I only get really good light about 5 or 6 months outta the year.
You can keep them happy indoors with a low wattage LED as long it's full spectrum. 12/12 should work.
@@TheHexeract thank you so much!
Wow
Espetáculo
I have a question for you my mom gave me some Bomelaids to have and one of the pups came off,Before any root's were on it. It's new to me i've never had them before how do i root my pup. I don't want it to die my zone it Florida? Do i put it right in the better gro Orchid mix soil i have for them?
What variety is the red one that you propogated?
