First Ride of 2023

- This is a 42 mile local ride from Exeter to Whiddon Down, which is situated on the edge of Dartmoor. The weather played a big part of this ride as there were strong winds and heavy rain. However, none of that spoiled my ride as I love riding this bike.

Brilliant, thanks for sharing
Hi Dave, the Creo is a fantastic bike and it’s always a pleasure to ride it. Take care and Many thanks for watching. ⚡️🚴🏻👍🏻
Great video I now have a specialized turbo creo expert I absolutely love makes the hills flat lol
Hi Andy, Great choice of bike buddy, I think you would agree with me that it’s an absolutely amazing bike to ride and I personally enjoy every single mile. The motor certainly makes riding hilly terrain a breeze and makes me laugh every time. Thanks for watching and happy riding ⚡️🚴🏻♂️👍🏼
Lovely looking bike, I have the same light set-up on the rear of my bike, radar and the Bontrager Flare, it’s a good combination. A lovely MG that overtook you early in the vid as well 😉👍
Hi Paul, great minds think alike buddy, I love the radar but having the bontrager as well I think just makes you a little more visible. I don’t see many MG’s anymore out and about especially in that distinctive colour. Thanks for watching and happy riding. 👍🏼⚡️🚴🏻♂️
@@electricbikerider exactly, the different flash rates between the two lights works well and, of course, the radar flash rate changes when the radar detects a vehicle approaching. Anything to help us to be seen 👍
Hats off to you for riding in the rain.
Hi Buddy, I will never start a ride if it’s raining, but I’m always ready with a waterproof jacket if the heavens open up when I’m out. I will cut the ride short and head home. Thanks for watching and happy riding. 🚴🏻♂️👍🏼
Such a great colour on that frame, even in the crappy, cloudy weather 😉
Hi Andrew, I do rely love the colour and the matt finish of the frame, it gives it a stealthy look. The weather conditions couldn’t of got any worse for me with strong winds and heavy rain that wasn’t forecast. But I still had a great ride despite. Thanks for watching and take care. ⚡️🚴🏻♂️👍🏼
@@electricbikerider Nice looking bike I have the same model & color. I"m having some finnish issues with the paint. it looks very blochy are u having the same problem?
@@1962monster, Hi Michael, the frame finish on the black Creo is a Organic Carbon Look. Some owners hate it but I personally really do like the look. And it also seams to change different shades of grey/ black depending on the lighting which I also like. I hope the colour / finish grows on you, thanks for watching and happy cycling. ⚡️🚴🏻♂️👍🏼
I have the same bike color and exact same brake squawk which drives me crazy
Hi, The Creo is a fantastic bike, but as much as I prefer the stopping power of disc brakes, I agree the different noises they make can be very annoying when out on a ride. Many thanks for watching and happy riding ⚡️🚴🏻♂️👍🏼
Where did you keep your rain jacket? I don’t ride in the rain or cold. You need to be in the U.S. as you aren’t experiencing riding in turbo up to 28 mph assist (45 k).
Hi, my winter jacket that I’m wearing has three pockets at the rear so I pop it in the larger middle pocket, and I’m glad I do as it has saved me many times from the elements. I understand not starting a ride in the rain but I can highly recommend riding when it’s cold out, just do fewer miles. I absolutely love my bike, more than I thought but I can only imagine the fun you guys are having with a 28mph assist. Thanks for watching and happy riding ⚡️🚴🏻♂️👍🏼
Being able to travel assisted to 28 mph with my regular effort is exhilarating!!
I have the Turbo Creo Comp Carbon as well and it is a dream to “fly by” all the bikers on the bike paths. I ride in turbo mode all of the time. That’s the reason i bought it.
The Creo is a wonderful invention. I am glad to be alive at this time and I thank God He made a way for me to afford one. I am truly grateful to experience it.
I enjoy your videos. Carry on!!!
@@sybianorgasms5531 The creo is amazing and it definitely sounds like you’re having to much fun, take care of yourself 😂⚡️🚴🏻♂️👍🏼
I'm looking at this model or the evo gravel one. How do you like the tires? The website says there 30mm, but other places I here 28mm? Nice video. Beautiful scenery around there. Thanks for sharing
Hi Mychael, the Creo is a fantastic bike and mine definitely came with Specialized Turbo Pro, 30mm tyres. I do remember seeing them advertised on certain websites with 28 mm tyres, however the 30mm turbo pro tyres I’ve got are really good. Being it was the first time I have ridden them, I was very impressed. However, today I’ve replaced them with 32 mm tubeless tyres instead, so I’m ready for some long, road and gravel summer rides. I do prefer riding tubeless over tubes and the many benefits that come with them. For example, on my last ride I did get a pinch puncture from hitting a very large pot hole. I hope that helps you, many thanks for watching and happy riding. ⚡️🚴🏻♂️👍🏼
@@electricbikerider I'm going to test ride one tomorrow. They have knocked one grand off the price!
@@mychaelpierce8049 Good luck with the test ride and push for a bit more off the price, it’s a buyers market at the moment ⚡️🚴🏻♂️👍🏼
@@electricbikerider I really liked the bike. However, the finish on the smoke colored carbon frame was unfinished looking. There were several areas where it appeared the finish had bleed thru the carbon and it had a scuffed blemish appearance. Is your bike like that. Thanks
@@mychaelpierce8049 Hi Buddy, yes my frame is exactly like that but it’s perfectly normal, it’s a carbon raw look frame Matt finish. When the sun light shines on the frame it looks different every time and I really love it. Sometimes it looks black and sometimes grey. I hope that helps. Take care. ⚡️🚴🏻♂️👍🏼
