  • We wanted to talk about the heart and soul of Solarrolla and what makes us different. We are not just another EV manufacturer, we build solar EV's so your charging station is always with you wherever your adventures take you.

Nice for each and everyone of us should find our own full filling project that make us feel that sense of accomplishment. Thanks for the inspiration and motivation to drive us towards doing something good.

To be clear, you can also get 100% green energy for currently existing EVs at home from your electric company, paying a couple cents more per kWh. And you can have solar on your home, where you charge. Soon, we will have far superior ceramic batteries. The time is now to get an EV. I dig this vehicle and concept. I lived in a Rectrans "Discoverer" RV for a couple years and if only that thing was solar powered.

Kira, this video is SO good! You have a gift girl!! And Brett, you were pulling and convincing me more and more about the wonderful concept of solar powered vehicles. By the end of this clip you were tugging at my heart string too. Slowing down, looking at the ones we love, focusing on what really matters. Amen brotha! You two are one heck of a couple - with beautiful kids too! ❤

Local energy! Yes! Also amazing to do a trip without having to be near a fuel source!

Hi Brett.. Sharing this with a few of my / our like-minded friends. I especially want them to see your verbal comments at the end of this video. They mirror my own thoughts perfectly. Carry on..

I still rarely do more than 2 hours in my ICE 4wd. So for me no issue. Off grid in Australia is vast, so my EV will need range and solar, or I can carry a petrol(gas) generator if needed. Hoping the local 45v caravan batteries become more popular . They would run an inverter easily for an emergency charge, just like I carry a jerry can of fuel, now.

Hi guys, really love your work. I’ve been following the Joel and the red foo e star conversions and find everything about it fascinating and inspiring. I currently flip vans in Australia and rent them out but for last 2 years have had a similar dream to Joel in that I want to deck out a electric sprinter/LDV/Transit with a solar dollar esc power system and be the first one to travel around Australia on nothing but the sun. I would love to discuss this with you guys further as you seem to be the only ones in the world that I’m aware of doing it. I know it’s annoying getting messages like this sometimes but I’d love to know anything that you have to share about commencing a project like this on an electric Van. Kind Regards Jake Bennett

I have a 92 f250 ex ambulance (Australian so it's weird fibreglass shape, not a metal box). I want to convert inside and the engine to ev. Would love panels like this but am sure the fibreglass isn't strong enough 😕

Go for it! There's some advantages of having portable panels instead of fixing them to the roof, just in case you can't park your vehicle in the sun or would rather park it in the shade. Bit more hassle to set up though, of course.

The body on this van is also fiberglass, but there's also support beams and the panels we use are lightweight.
