- The Los Angeles Chargers are set to take on the Chicago Bears on Sunday Night Football. The Chargers are 2-4 and their season is on the line but does the team still have faith in Head Coach Brandon Staley? Austin Ekeler was asked about the locker room having faith in Staley and responded quote: 'we have no choice, right?' He later clarified saying quote 'I don't have an opinion about that.' James is the perfect analyst for the show! He’s fits in so well with everyone.
JJ has blended exceptionally with the crew. They should keep him on permanently!
He's excellent. This is one of the more underrated sports shows on television. Their chemistry exceeds First Take, Undisputed and Get Up at this point. The only show you can argue has better chemistry is First Things First.
They also bring a player's perspective better than any other show. There's something about the way Shady and James Jones reference their own experience that seem more authentic than the perspective of former players on other shows.

The problem is Herbert hasn’t became a dawg yet. Most talented quarterbacks get cocky like I’m not losing tonight. He looks like he’s going through the motions, you rarely see him fired up. The good teams feed off energy, who’s the leader? Keenan already said he is waiting for Herbert to take that step.
I feel that but my take is opposite, the way Herbert plays is more like he's scared the coaches are gunna get rid of him, he's playing like he needs to force these wins against teams the same way rivers did, he's taking too much responsibility and it's stressing him, that's how he looks

I agree with Acho in terms of hating the phrase "lost the locker room."
Why? I feel like there are coaches that win the locker room over and players want to play under that coach. And it's more about whether they can scheme and have their best interest at heart. For example, Mike Tomlin has won the locker room over continually. He gets the best out of those guys. Same with Andy Reid. These guys produce. But a coach can lose a locker room by not effectively placing players on place to win.
Ekler still upset about his contract. So he'll say whatever to "ROCK the boat" at this point..

Their coach doesn't scout teams for strengths and weaknesses. He is the Reverse Belichick. He plays to the other team's strengths and not his QB's. They almost lost to the Falcons last year because they wouldn't pass against their bottom-four NFL secondary. Fortunately for them, Staley had to pass in OT as time was running out. Herbert went like 7 for 7, first down every play to win.

Wtf? Since Herbert got there the Chargers have scored the most points in NFL history. Also, since he got there and Staley became head coach they have allowed the most points in NFL history on defense. The defense has been historically bad, bottom 5-10 since Herbert’s rookie year. Bottom 3-5 in points allowed. Always last in run or pass defense. It’s terrible. He needs to go.
