In todays video we react to the news that th postponed game between dundee and rangers has been postponed again as dundees park fails yet another match inspection as they have now failed 5 pitch inspections this season and forced 5 games to be rescheduled, we talk about what needs to be done rangers statement & the spfls response as they threaten disciplinary action, what needs to be done? what can be done? will this game ever happen at dens park? this is our thoughts on dundee rescheduling the game vs rangers again..its embarrassing. whats your thoughts?

5th postponed game at Dens and the 2nd time our game is postponed what a fucking mickey mouse outfit and now, with more rain forecast for next week they want to play it there again!!!
I predict it will postponed again. The league cannot continue to tolerate Dundee's incompetence, they should forfeit the game and suffer a points deduction as they're obviously incapable of keeping their pitch playable.

Totally agree mate Dundee have had 2 chances to get their pitch playable for this fixture and twice have failed. The 2 options now should be either Dundee play the game at Ibrox and let their fans travel or forefit the game and Rangers are Awarded a

This has worked in our favour,we need recovery time for some players,and dont forget our team are still gelling,patience ,everything comes to those who wait.
It’s not just the farce of such a bad surface for a supposed professional outfit, it’s the inadequacy of the current setup of the league which hasn’t got a contingency in place for this ridiculous situation. The SPFL needs to be taken over by a competent and independent company to restore confidence and credibility and drive the game forward, until that happens there will be more amateur hour situations with these monkeys driving the bus.

CJ Paddy power was out of order to include you on fans denial. The first game against Dundee could have been played. All parties requested the game to be delayed that day. However, it couldnae because of skysports deal. Yeah, dundee have problems. Is waterlog pitch fully their fault? Are Dundee Council/Scottish Government managing the roads/drainage to ensure Dundee can do what they need do. It's on yer shirt "zeroemissions". This gonna be a reality if we don't meet that. OK, they have plans to relocate to a new stadium, but under Scottish Premier Lge rules Dundee FC have an ongoing obligation to maintain standards at Dens Park. It is now obvious they have failed to comply.

My local amateur team has a playing surface maintained by 1 volunteer and is playable all through the winter. Dundee are a shambles.
Makes one wonder, is VAR more important than fans not being messed about and players being more likely to pick up injuries?

Dundee don't care about the state of their pitch, they had plenty of time to take precautions and prevent this from happening again.
The SPFL has minimum requirements for pitches, and Dundee have breached those requirements on 5 occasions. When do the people responsible for it step up and come to obvious conclusion - Dundee are not fit to be in the SPFL.

Tannadice, back in the 60s was the same. It was like playing on a ploughed field. They brought in lorry loads of sand to soak it up and it looked like a desert. You could practically count the blades of grass.

Having watched the previous footage from the pitch inspection on ssn and then watched yesterday on the same channel it was no surprise the game was off. I did not want our players anywhere near that park given the injuries we’ve picked up this season. Was actually quite funny watching they planks they have as eh “groundsmen” where doing to get the sheets off the park wae the rain in the middle. They should be forced to forfeit.

5th time their pitch has been unplayable before the split, ridiculous situation for a supposed Premiership club, amateur teams can maintain playable pitches, Tannadice about 100m down the road is like a bowling green in comparison and they’re a championship team… 2nd postponement of the same fixture weeks apart due to an unplayable pitch should be a straight case of an automatic 3-0 win for us and a fine for them, anything the other mob from across the city have to say can be clamped by reminding them they were happy to accept a league title with 9 games still to play.

Tough question to answer CJ , but if certain clubs have a certain number of postponements , due to poor pitch management the replay goes to the other clubs home field, total farce that this is happening in todays game, dont know the answer but is beyond crazy.
Simply play the game at celtic park, Tyncastle, or anywhere else, GET the game Played !
Neither Dundee nor Rangers should play at Celtic Park any more than is absolutely necessary - even as a neutral venue!

It not even the players and staff at Dundee. I have a lot of friends who are freelance photographers whose income is affected by the call offs. They have to travel up there just in case it goes ahead. They lose twice as they won't get paid for the game or if it's cancelled earlier they could have got another gig somewhere else. There's all the staff at the ground, services police TV crews so the SPFL board are making us a laughing stock in the football world and give fodder to the English media. I'm a Rangers fan but Motherwell I believe spent over a million getting their ground up to scratch but Dundee paid very little so why do they get away with it?

It's likely that the Dundee teams in the SJFA Midlands League didn't have waterlogged pitches.
Postpone the cup semi then! Everything happening is going against Rangers. What if we have injuries in the match 3 days before the semi? Dundee should pay dearly for this debacle. The match should be a forfeit, 3-0 to Rangers and 3 points.

I'd like to know how often Dundee United have postponed games this season. Some Italian clubs actually share their grounds; Juventus and Torino, AC and Inter Milan. Surely Dundee United's ground could be made available just once? Why is there a problem at Dundee's ground? Is it situated in a micro climate that experiences worse weather than the rest of Dundee? Credit to Rangers FC for not mincing their words but I have a feeling the SPFL will do little more than tell Dundee FC not to do it again. Scottish football supporters deserve better.

They got rid of their ground staff because they didn’t want to spend more money on the current pitch. They said it themselves.
I guarantee you that had Dundee NOT been challenging for a top 6 place in terms of the split, this game would take place AFTER other post split fixtures are arranged (Had Dundee been confirmed in the bottom 6 or top 6 already). There has been precedence for this already.👍
