12 min at the end of the go pro lense got me dying
Poor visit that. Midweek afternoon for 1 pint. Could of been so much better this
First pub i would sit in there aw day good music good beer
You're lucky the dog poo didn't assault you 🤣🤣🤣
No it's true. Its the doggy pubs. Eat and drink ya fill and interact yeah talk mates. Doggiest smell mustard. it is ma auld fellows.doggy yeah dude.
Its so laughable that these were put forward as the dodgiest pubs. Pubs in schemes are considerably worse, and also, go at night time when its dark.
Put a shoutout for center glasgow rough pubs....these are all recomendations! 🤣
@@honestplaces Are The Butty or Peel still in the Drum?
You won't find dodgy pubs in the centre, try the estates 😂
Done too much estate drinking recently, got too depressing 🤣
Oooohhh estates lol. Try a scheme pub 😂
I guarantee you would not come back from possil
@@Bigtimecharliepotatoes went paisley instead. Those streets of abandoned house 😲
It's the same in any council estate.
You should have went to the clansman in craiglang,Boabby the barman is a right character,Watch out for tam thought,He’s always on the scrounge,
😂
And Winston he is always partially legless
You can buy a scotch pie in there but it's usually hot on the outside and cold in the middle
Watch out for big Innes though.
You could have got lucky and got a lumber with the lovely Miss Isa - but you may need ear plugs. 😂😂
Brother why do you suggest that pubs are dodgy? It’s people that mean the pub opens it’s doors. Every pub in Britain is dodgy. It’s how you speak to and treat the patrons. If you’re sound with people you’ll be looked after. If you’re a bam you’ll face trouble. That’s the same all over Britain.
well said.just because its Glasgow doesnt mean its dodgy..Big D standing with his back to you at 4:04 ? if heard you calling this pub dodgy? you wouldnt be alive to post it.
👏 bravo
Retired Scots trucker, been in hundreds of pubs all over the UK during my 44 years on the road. What you've said here is 100% correct 👍
being bald and white probably helps
There all f@ckin dodgy😂
In Glasgow and surrounding area it rains 9 months of the year...then we have winter.
True 😂
Don't talk crap!
Got to be more than that.
the worst place i've ever been to.
Greetings from New York! I love your pub adventures as I'm originally from the UK (Cardiff born and bred). I can't drink anymore due to 40 years of boozing so your videos are the next best thing!
Same here...The days of 10-12 pints and a few whiskeys a session are well gone...after 6 small bottles of weak lager and I'm booking an uber
Loving these pub visit videos, keeping pubs alive, great channel
Heard the one about the bloke who walks into a pub and the first thing he says, to a complete stranger is, "not rough in here is it?" Then buys a pint but doesn't know the price, cos, you understand, he PAID BY CARD. Comedy gold.
Have to admit I couldn't believe he said that especially infront of the barmaid 🙈 Had to laugh 😅
When I lived in Glasgow the "clockwork orange" pub crawl was a good one. You take the tube/subway and get off at every stop to have a pint at nearest pub - you will certainly get some dodgy ones on that day trip 😂
" These Scottish people, they like a beer", understatement of forever.
We like Tennent's
A pint of heavy.
I,m a Brit , an worked in the north ov Scotland 35 years ago , and good times in Glasgow on time off. , never any trouble , lovely Glaswegian people ❤❤❤❤❤,.
All city centre pubs, very safe and quiet. Alpen Lodge looks rowdy 😅. If you come back in the summer I'll take you for a pint in some proper dodgy places. Good on you for getting Cali and Belhaven best though. Underrated beers.
1.99? My kind of pub!
We used to drink Tennants in similar style pubs back in the 90s Burton on Trent, seeing pubs like this still exist is brilliant, hope they stay open for many years to come 👍
Anyone's kind of pub for £1.99 🤣
2 quid for a great looking pint, come to Vancouver and pay 10 bucks for flat piss in a fancy bar, it's a joke
1.99 must be as weak as piss
😂 look like the friendliest pubs ever
They are all friendly bars
There’s a reason why Glasgow has doubled as Gotham City in so many Batman/DC movies. The architecture and and atmosphere. It’s also double for New York quite a lot Ad a lot of early New York architecture was based on Glasgow’s. Also at one point during the Irish Famine the only place to receive more Irish people than Glasgow was New York.
double for new york yeah ok lmao

Good song playing In the first pub. Tears For Fears - Change. Great video.
Some boss tunes playing through-out! Cheers pal 👍
I get what you all meanby it but, in American terms going of these pubs is more of a cultureshock, something indentifiable but, more 'rural' and in terms of music/vibes , something from an entirely different time.
I dig it, as a foreigner but it's mad "Still Game" vibes...
It's quaint. An entirely different 'drinking' culture. loved the dude doing all the covers.. guid crack.

walked by pubs such as the toby jug many times but never went in......its good to see the insides of them.....good on you for coming up but try them on a weekend day lol theyll be crammed to the rafters lol.....look forward to the video on the schemes you visit
I was laughing when you went to the Tollbooth, I was thinking of that pub from the start of your video. It's a Tim pub but I always had a laugh in there. My pal was a Timmy Mallet and I'm a Gers fan he took me in there when we went to Glasgow or the toon whatever you want to call it. I haven't been there since 98 , back then it was a pound a pint! Cheers to Scotland!!
It's £1.50 a pint now. Inflation!
I'm a tim and a plumber..When I was serving my time, my big tradesman who was showing me the game was a Gers fan and he used to take me to all the Rangers pubs on a friday or sat and let everyone everyone know who I supported..Used to take a good slagging for that, but it was all good natured and after a while it was never mentioned..Great memories!
Downs bar is actually called Sammy Downs if your local! Under Central Station Bridge is called the umbrella! To be honest if your looking for rough pubs, then tbh you've not visited them.
Your channel brother is awesome..big respect from derbyshire.
Parked up a truck overnight and found a pub called the King Ludd about 25 years ago. Had a great, quiet few pints with the mostly elder generation, walking sticks, flat caps and dogs. Got up in the morning and told our next drop-off and they reckoned it was the roughest pub in Glasgow.🙃
King ludd is in Craignuke ..
a quiet word from the locals and they would have called someone to keep you company for the night.Trongate has a lot of hooars at night to for the lorry drivers and lonley..
Nice architecture up there, too bad it was raining, you might have enjoyed it more in the sunshine. That 1st Tennants looked sooo good.
Nice architecture 😂 at Tollbooth. That's where folk used to get hung 😂

None of those pubs looked dodgy at all , everyone looked very chilled out , I’ve been in pubs where you could cut the atmosphere with a knife , all it would take to set things off is a “ dirty look “ at someone , some header taking offence where none was meant .
The craziest pub I was in was the Bogside Inn recently demolished but back in the early 70’s it had a machine gun post set up at the front door to stop bomb attacks , the atmosphere inside was always relaxed as everyone knew each other but if a stranger walked in it was like a Tarantino moment , those were the days though , you enjoyed every minute like it was your last because there was a high chance it could be 😂
