There used to be a famous Gypsy bare knuckle fighter in my home town Uttoxeter ( Staffordshire ) His name was Bartley Gorman , He had the title Gypsy king long before Tyson Fury, the Fury family knew Bartley i think they may of been related, My Dad knew Bartley in the 80s and i am still friends with Shaun and Marie who are Bartleys kids, Marie was and still is a good looking lass and could probably knock out most of the lads if she wanted, i knew of her before i met her and sometime in the early 90s my town had a crappy club called the townhouse, i was barely 18 Marie was a few years older, when this night her friend came over and asked if i would have the last slow dance with her, Bare in mind i was a good looking lad back then never had problems pulling the girls, i had never been so scared in my life hahaa,

He’s an old man and he stood his ground trading punches with a bigger and younger man. The fact he stood his ground and lived to tell the story is a win in itself.

Someday soon you yourself will be old and when you are I can almost guarantee you won’t fancy standing and trading with someone younger, bigger, probably stronger and fitter and probably able to take more than you.
There’s nothing wrong with that by the way, it’s a natural instinct. I won’t fancy it, the same as 99% of other people.
When you look at what Paddy’s done as an old man and imagine how you’d feel and what you’d do when you’re old, you can only respect the man.

Grew up in the Irish Midlands knew loads of travellers. There are a few bad eggs but most are lovely and just want to live a normal life like the rest of us. They suffer at the hands of other travellers more than settled people ever do. They torment each other.
This is why i say let them do wtf they gota do ppl in houses think there amazing look at there culture the respect they have the my fight but they fight with rules and recpest leave them alone they are a better brand of ppl than most simple
