- Back in 1997, The Washington State Department of Transportation drove East on WA SR-522 and recorded video to document the highway. This was part of a project that photographed/videotaped the states highways every couple of years. This video now resides at The Washington State Archives who were kind enough to share it.
Brings back memories. I now live in Las Vegas and am planning to return to the PNW. I miss the trees, lakes and hills. ...and rain!
Ah, the old 307 bus. Used to take it on Sundays going to the Bothell Library. Had to leave my house early, though: I live in Auburn and I took Metro all the time.
That's the Bothell I remember and liked unlike what is there now.
Downtown Bothell is unrecognizable! I had no idea there were stores and restaurants on the south side of Bothell Way!
That was Bothell Landing and included lots of cool places like a BMX bike store, Ivar’s, Petosas, and lots of other places.
I got my license there too. Right next to it was the international Deli @@eganfo
Thats about 30 years ago.
Look how the people are driving, not in a rush or a big hurry to get nowhere.
Good old Washington.. Where doing the speed limit makes you the slowest car on the road.
3:55 He missed the call out, but that’s NE 95th St to the right. Drove this route to make this turn many times when I lived near Matthews Beach in ‘94.
Pierre Money Mart is where American Lease Co. once stood. 6:43
And before that it was a 7-11
My old stomping grounds Monroe.
Good ol days before it all went down the toilet.
Before all the trash and graffiti.
