Driving On WA SR-9 South In 1991 (Sedro-Woolley, Arlington)

Back in 1991, The Washington State Department of Transportation drove South on SR-9 and recorded video to document the highway. This was part of a project that photographed/videotaped the states highways every couple of years. This video now resides at The Washington State Archives who were kind enough to share it.

Amazing how far Woolley has come in 30 years. Sadly I’d take 91 Woolley over today. So much less traffic.

Those were the days we had the small town safe way before the big move and they tore down that bridge and they made us go around to meet the road.
