Native 4k (no more upscaling) and locked 60fps, on all games.
Just do whatever it takes, but they know, once they do that... they'll have NO MORE consoles to sell... it'll be the last gaming console. ZERO reason for 8k gaming for a least a decade or more. So if and when they do come out with a native 4k, 60fps console, they know they just signed their funeral, that'll be the last console ever made for a while.
That's my suspicion and that's why they're holding off on that for another generation or 1.5 generations... PS6 pro may have those minimum standards.
And PC's are the same, they phase out chipsets every few years.. .making you buy a new MB and then a new chip... Or RAM, or GPU, it's always something. It's all the same. 6-7 years ago you could do 4k 60 fps (with 1080ti and titan GPU's)... now, you need updates and new chipsets to do the same 4k 60-120fps, it's all about profits. So PC gamers pay $2200 or more for a 4k gaming PC every 3-4 years, and consoles pay $5-600 every 2-3 years.
@@ashs4022 ps5 has nothing to do with 4k nor does ps5 pro. Its 1080p or less render resolution then upscaled with the worst upscaler in pc market the amd fsr. When console choose dynamic 1080p and 60fps~ or 1440p at 30fps pc does 4k 120fps with rt(nvidia) and maxed visuals. Also games pc have more games available and cheaper. When you upgrade pc you can always sell the old parts and that pushes the price down. But consoles as a hardware are good for the price if you are happy about the performance, monthly fees and pricier games and ease of use. Pc is more versatile supporting mouse and keyboard plus all xbox, playstation, vr and whatnot controllers. Dualsense for an example and all its features work on pc just like ps.
The PS5 already has plenty of power, we want more good games. In the process of switching to pc, I will build my own pc.

Yup been waiting ever since they released the ps5 for a lot of good games like space marine 2, gta 6 and more to get the console but I’ll wait a bit more if the pro is releasing soon. Got the ps4 pro and although it’s loud as hell it performs wonderfully well to this day.

I was going to but then I realized I'm better off getting a pc. Consoles are already so close to PC's now that it'd be pointless going forward on consoles. Especially considering digital games have ruined the physical game market.

No man's sky does not have native ray tracing, so having a pro is not going to enable something that isn't there.
NMS is heavily CPU bound I believe, as it's processing all of the procedurally generated geometry and algorithms. And the PS5 Pro doesn't have much of a CPU update.

probably not getting the console day 1 either because of money or time, but i do plan to get a ps5 pro eventually, instead of getting the ps5 i switched to pc but theres still exclusives i want to play, most of my friends are still on playstation, and some games i play dont have cross progression and/or cross play and id still like to play with my friends and not have to start over entirely. i had a ps4 pro and have been waiting for the ps5 pro before getting a new console.

@tcmfgamesofficial I don't play as much as I'd like, but my wife is always on it! She did get it for me on pre-order back in 2020,when scalping was rife and nobody could get one. So i told her she could have that one as long as she pre-orders the pro just for me.😏

4K + 60 FPS + Full Ray Tracing mode and PSSR/auto upscale/boost
It's funny how people say an upgraded version of a console is a waste of money. I remember going from the PS4 to the PS4 pro. What a huge difference. Then going from the pro to PS5 LOL just the loading screen times alone is worth it. Not to mention all the other Fidelity and performance upgrades. I'm sure the PS5 Pro will be similar to the PS4 generation. Will it be massive Leaps and Bounds better? Absolutely not. But for those of us that are fortunate enough and work hard enough to be able to afford something like that. It's a no-brainer. But me personally I'm hoping Sony gets more and more into releasing PC day one. That way I don't have to buy consoles anymore. That might can be spent upgrading when necessary. I do have to say though I do like the ease of use on console. If you're not a huge Tech person PC can be quite involved if you're not slightly educated in that area. You don't have to be educated at all for console. You plug it in and start playing. Very convenient which is why there will always be a market for them
Day one Pro and Astrobot customer here! I’m hoping that the Pro launches as an all-black model; I’m not a huge fan of white consoles. I have tons of official and unofficial PS5 console covers because I can’t stand the sterile look of white devices.

I had this too. I replaying it yesterday and had the same stutter at the plainsong after talk to Varl and Zo in The Dying Lands main quest. Same stutter and same place I had before from the last 2 years. This is loading time problem. They are lazy to fix this well this is just small problem. Overall the game runs smooth.
People dont give a damn about better lightning textures. My lord, its simple put out the PRO with a much bigger storage, with more power, speed an update design with some new fetures and the fastest WIFI speed and call it a day. At this rate they well be talking about the PS6. Its taking way to long for a PRO version.

Ps not very excited about playing the new astrobot in 2D - just seems a step backwards from VR - they should of allowed 2D as well as a VR option but who knows maybe there will eventually an update VR patch ?

While I don’t actually see a need for a PS5 Pro, I will most likely end up getting one just to future proof myself for the games hitting 2025/2026. Just all depends on whether or not spending another $500 is going to make that much of a difference. From what I can tell, the games coming out through 2026 will run just fine on the PS5.

I would but for the first time as a 44 year old guy I feel like i got ripped off with the ps5. I had the original nintendo, super nes, n64 then ps1 ps2 ps3 ps4 ps4 pro ps5 xbox 360 xbox X.
Between the advertising being more misleading than ever before and the games this past 4 years being mostly designed to work on ps4 there is still nothing interesting being added by this conole.

It actually depends on more than just the performance. If the PS5 PRO is going to be a horizontal console again like the PS4 and everything before I just dont have the space to place it right. Theres only so much space next to my TV. Also what about the cooling? PS4 was a jet. PS5 had some kind of a silent wind noise but therefore a super noisy rattling. One of the reasons why I returned my original PS5 Slim end of last year. They need to work on that cooling system as well.

no it wouldn't, the hardware cant push that its to weak for 200fps i doubt it will even give you a real 120fps at 1440p if you want a real native 120 or more fps you need a pc
