The coolant color depends on the year of the car. My 2010 takes the OAT which is orange in color and then Mopar started changing to the more environmentally friendly, but not as good purple stuff from 2013 to 2016 depending on the vehicle. At any rate, you cannot mix the two or it gums up and ruins your engine so make sure you flush it really well like in the video and then it doesn't matter so much. I have had the orange stuff in my car for 13 years and the car has never overheated and I live in Texas. I think I will change it next week since you will not be able to buy HEMIs anymore.

Great video but I have a question. I’m not doing a full coolant flush but I need to add some coolant. Can I just match the color of the coolant when I add it? It looks to be a light pink color like in your video.

Good video. But you should be able to remove the bleeder screw, and just fill it with coolant until it comes out of the bleeder screw hole. Then top it off. You shouldn't need to use the special funnel. That's what I did on my 5.7 anyway.

I did this today and fill the tank up, turned it on and got it to operating temp and the coolant level dropped like crazy when I turned it off...how the heck did yours not?
