Landon, I thought our cars we are suppose to use 75w85 diff oil with the limited slip additive ? Is their a benefit to using the Ams Oil 75w90 for more cushion. Also don't we need to add the Mopar lsd additive, or Ams slip lock additive.
I used the lock tight before with the amsoil and I was hearing a wining sound coming from the diff and just now I change the oil with the amsoil and no lock tight made a big difference thanks to your mechanic he knows his shiti been using amsoil since 2018 on my 392 best oil I recommend to change the diff oil every 10 k miles
Was it a whine sound when you stepped on the gas around 40-50 mph? My 16 charger RT is making that noise that’s why wanted to know if I change the rear diff fluid will it not make the sound anymore?
You made a great choice running the AMSOIL, the best of the best! You should note that AMSOIL is 100% synthetic, not fully synthetic, there is a huge difference! ZERO petroleum in AMSOIL! If it says full, fully or synthetic blend, it's not 100% Synthetic! Enjoy that ride!
Hoping what he said was true. I have an RT 5.7 with a limited-slip and I just changed the oil. I use Valvoline full synthetic with limited-slip additive. I did not add any extra additive. But I am hearing mild rubbing noises when I turn sharp turns.
@@lotus956 I eventually did eventually add extra limited-slip additive and the noise went away. But the transmission has since gone out in that piece of crap of a car and I've gotten rid of it
38000 miles and the clutch went out in my 6-speed manual. Water pump went out. Air conditioner evaporator went out two times. First under warranty second time $2,800. Third and last Chrysler product I ever buy. Never even so much as spun the tires in that car.
@@lotus956 I changed my with amsoil right when I had my 2018 Scatpack and had no issues.put 70k miles on my scat pack. If anything the manufacturer would user cheaper than what you actually need.
@@landoninahellcat8745 I’m changing my oil in my scat pack tomorrow do you think one pack of the fluid is enough because I seen yours over flowed as soon as he put other pack in to add more ?? I have one at the moment
Supposed to fill it from the bottom with a pump until it comes out top..but your mouth is too smart for ur brain i wont dislike ur video because i love dodge..haha
I’m glad I found this. I was taking my challenger for its last free oil change and they wanted to change the differential fluid for $275.
I'm glad this video helped you. Thanks for stopping by! 👍

Kool gonna order this for my car
The exhaust sounds killer! What is it? Great video and your friend is a wealth of knowledge
Thank you! It's the magnaflow competition series exhaust. Please subscribe to the channel would appreciate it
Would you get a differential brace? And you need to get the bead lock as well when changing the oil?

Lock tight? I think lock tight is to lock the bolt

Is this the same amount for for my charger scatpack?
Is it the same for the transmission
Have you had to go back and add any friction modifier? Or has it been running good?
Nope none. I now own a hellcat. I ran it for another 4 to 5 months with no issue.

Go with what the manufacturer wants. This guy in the video is not in charge of your warranty.

Where did you get your tips from
Came on the magnaflow competition series exhaust. 👍
Dodge dealership charge me $269 to flush it out and refill on my 3.90 diff not sure what brand oil they used
is 1 pack enough do you add the entire slip tube with the pack alot basic shit would of been nice to been answered
You need 2 packs to make sure it's filled. Once it starts coming out it will slightly die down. Then you know it's good.
@@landoninahellcat8745 cool thx and the slip modifier is necessary or optional and if so do you just dump it in the pack using the whole thing?
@@lowridr2 you don't need any slip necessary.
I’m dead, buddy put like 30 bucks of gas lmaooo
Lol it's called editing bud.
Mine had lots of metal in it . What do i do to make it not do that 😢
Also, i have the 2019 hemi rt T/A, so that means i have the scat pack without the 392
I’m doing royal purple 75-90 maxgear
Is 75/90 manufacturers recommend?
I heard it was 75/85 so I’m confused now
Check your manual.
Did you only use 1 bottle of of the slip lock ?
Watch the whole video he explains why I didn't use any.
