- Cardano is a commodity based on the FIT21 crypto bill that was just passed by the US House of Representatives. This is a huge day for crypto and the bill will continue on to the Senate for further approvals. Do you think that Cardano, and the ADA token, are commodities based on this information, or is the Cardano blockchain going to be measured as a financial security?

@@corbz9868 it is for the people. Staking is self custody. Governance includes dReps. It has a sovereign treasury controlled by the community. Token distribution follows the FIT21 bill requirements, with less than 20% going to insiders and founding members. Even when Charles wanted the community to do the Vasil upgrade, the SPO’s did not upgrade and wanted to do more testing, so the Vasil upgrade was delayed. Please provide an argument why Cardano is not for the people?
Tech behind is a simpleton’s fud, Cardano can run the frames of Doom on one of its Layer 2’s, that is instant finality. Also you can include different transactions in one transaction without needed extra fees or more smart contracts, it’s efficient. This is before Input Endorsers, which gets rid of the conservative 20 second block time. Latest tests shows 5 blocks per second. If going by moore’s law, then Cardano can also upgrade block size too. So it is highly efficient. Then there’s projects like ZkFold, combining detereministic tx’s with zk tech. Even ethereum researchers acknowledge the benefits determinism provides zk proofs. There’s also zk primitives coming to Layer 1, enabling protocols like Mithril. Imagine verifying the whole chain on your mobile device. You can do that with Mithril’s zk proofs. Light wallets with the same security as full node wallets. Less trusting, more verifying, more decentralized. That is why crypto exists.

I think ADA could be the next etf approval in United States. Europe already have cardano etf, and there is no reason why US won't approve cardano etf.

Last time iog wanted to push an update, I think it was for Vasil, the SPO’s did not upgrade their nodes and delayed it for more testing. So even if Chang is arriving later this year to bring full gov framework on chain (among other optimizations and new features), the SPO’s today offer a check against the core devs. Chang widens the scope of gov for more egalitarian design, similar to how egalitarian Cardano’s staking is. Love or hate Cardano, it is consistent in being the People’s network.

the uncertain in ADA is real as for many other great projects that performed good in the last bull run like SAND, DOT, AAVE, GALA and many more, but this means shit till the ALT Season really starts.
