Sir, if u were given the option to choose between edifier 1700bt, r2000db and r2730db irrespective of price which one you would choose? And why? Subjective reply will do too.

Edifre sounds better. T100 seems to lose some of its sound compared to the Edifire.

Interesting. I'm listening it on T100. Its true to say the original tracks on real T100 are much better than T100 tracks.

Ed's sounded more open, plus with 2 line inputs, optical, coax and sub-out, they are a clear winner. Shame the tone adjs are on the rear of the speaker (as always)

The Edifier's win so clearly, its a no brainer and a total embarrassment for the T100's.
the R1700BT have everything, more and deeper bass, better stage, cleaner mids and highs..while the T100's lacking big time in comparison, sounding muddy and squashed.

Dude, the edifier stuff is way, way tiresome with all that fake pressence and stuff. Plus the damn DSP is there always on doing its thing. And you can hear some procession.
Gone are the days of old analog stuff doing their best and worst. The T100 is anything but perfect but cock clogs the 1700 in the forehead in two fronts, first it is more natural (seems lacking) in the treble area and secondly, it doesn't crossover. It uses a transmition line inside to load up the single unit driver. That is hi fi class...The 1700 uses DSP to control time alignment and it is cool but so fake sometimes.

Why oh why didn't creative just add dedicated tweeters? Torn

The vocals sounded way better on the creative.
Edifier sounds better for electronic music but creative seems to be doing vocals better. (judging by the graph as well as by listening)

Are Edifiers the best Bluetooth speakers at this price point?
I'm considering them but I would like to know if there are alternatives to keep in mind.

I have them and I like them a lot. My other speakers are Magnepan MGIIIa's and I'm not let down when I listen to the little Edifiers. They aren't in the same class as the Maggies but they are still very musical and enjoyable.

Creative wins being CLOSER to the ORIGINAL signal. The Chinese brand COLORIZED by huge cutting of the LOW and MIDRANGE. Poor filters for the Chinese sounds like BELLS & WHISTLES. It reminds me of the Soviet MAYAK 205 taperecorder. Creative is always better in the price range

Those creatives sound awfully squashed. Actually they sound a lot like old pc speakers did back in the 90's and and early 00's before anyone actually considered pc audio to be anything serious.

Go a few years later when great bulky laptops running Windows XP exist and you'll find some great speakers despite how small they are. Some even have port holes for extra bass.
Someone actually took apart those speakers and made them wall speaker disguised as a decorative piece and it sounded great.

I bought creative t100, unfortunately they are the worst speakers I have ever had. Poor performance, worse sound quality than T40...
