    Thanks for the test! Edifier have much more / too much hights, Wavemaster sounds much closer to the source material and has better bass. The graphs confirm that.

    Edi's win, they are much cleaner and doesnt sound hollow like the Wavemasters, dream a dream and metalhead make that very clear, even when you didnt hear much difference in mortals or so.
    but with some good headphones or speakers you can hear the difference in every track and you'll know exactly when the Wavemasters play...you dont even need to see them...

    I'm very interested in the "big" Wavemaster vs some studio monitors in the same price range (E5, mr524, jbl305)

    well very nice!!
    i have to ask you and tell me if you know..
    im between Edifier R2750DB and Dali spector 2 pasive speakers for pc desk as ''monitors''. Not for production,just listening.
    i have already Dali concept 6 floor speakers for 10 years and im veeery huppy for those. i have also meridian explorer 2 as DAC.
    i see Edifier R2750DB with good eye if i make my self clear! and i like the fact that is 3 way speakers!
    at Dali spector 2 i feel like im part of the family and they have very good reviews and awards winning..
    so whats your opinion??

    • @DSAUDIOreview
      @DSAUDIOreview  Před 4 lety +1

      Edifier R2750DB is too big for nearfield. It will need at least 1.5-2meters betweet speakers and listener to sound close to coherent. I do not know about the Dali though. Did you consider other Edifier products like S1000DB or S2000Pro? Or studio monitors?

    Wavemaste got better bass. Unfortunately there a bit of honking sound. Otherwise is better than Edifier.

    can someone suggest me a good amplifier to pair with the edifier for my turntable setup?

    • @DSAUDIOreview
      @DSAUDIOreview  Před 4 lety +1

      Edifier is active. It has amplifiers built in, four of them to be exact, so it is plug and play

  • @gnd144
    @gnd144 Před 4 lety +2

    The Edifiers are better, you can adjust the bass and treble via dials on the side.

      How do the full size sound different? are they less boxxy/boomy? I was considering them but it seems like the biggest issue is how extreme the v-shaped the sound signature is and the dip around 2.5khz that affects vocal presence. If they are different and more balanced i'd really like to know.

    What sense does a video like this make when there are bass and treble adjusters on both models and god knows how they were tuned when making these recordings? Also makes everything sillier the fact that i'm listening with the Wavemaster CUBE.
    Not a fan of buying into one of those fully Chinese made crap... you know, the ones that are built AND designed in China.
    I know it's stoopid to grab onto something that is although engineered in Germany but still being manufactured in China, but what can someone do, when the world has been turned into shit. I didn't do it. And sure as hell i'm not gonna participate in making the shite go turbo. Make stuff Europe. Believe or not, it isn't a bigillion to get your asses up and do actual work and sell it.
