Not just two wonderful voices - but two finely-tuned instruments. Everything they're doing, humming, singing harmony, perfect pitch and tone. And complete class and grace. I wish the singers today were watching this and taking notes. And the song they were singing was a contemporary one for those times. We also don't have songs like this anymore.
I am so grateful for CZcams for those who upload this beautiful video clip of two beautiful singers. This really made me smile remembering how much I love them individually.
How rare to hear a true duet performed like this. Its always fun to listen to two great voices giving up just the right portion of their individuality to make it seamless. Boy, this seems to be a lost art now. Thanks for the memories!
This a great example of Andy's incredible ear - singing to compliment Ms Wilson, not over-power her, and a complex harmony part as well. Two great performers!
I could see Nancy as a Bond girl. I wish she had recorded the theme for one of the Bond movies. That aside, Nancy 'Baby' Wilson is one of the greatest singers of the last century. Easily!
Two of My FAVORITES. I was a very little girl and my brother was just a year behind me and my parents would allow us to stay up late only to hear "Moon River" and we'd kiss the T.V. screen then go to bed.
It's been said that the simple things separate a good singer from a great artist. The simple way that Nancy makes the words sound like they come from the heart and not the throat, is the most amazing thing about her. There are no mannerisms or jive scatting - it's something that is just innate in her, like the other greats - Nina, Sarah, Ella etc.
@peppersax I so agree with you! I thought the same thing as I watched Andy perform with the lovely Shirley Bassey. She is so gorgeous and appealing and TALENTED like Nancy, and Andy would barely look at her. Let alone touch her. Shirley was obviously used to the freedom of Britain, because she hugged him after the performance, as she normally does. What man would not respond?!!! One who had to please his sponsors. Racism is ugly, and confining.
👑 Nancy Wilson. Exquisite Talent, Elegance and Effervescent Personality ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

How pretty these voices are together.

I Love This Duet , Ms Wilson's speaking voice is so polished
Nancy is style & class personified and the duet with Andy Williams is beautiful. Two great singers and a great rendition of "On A Clear Day."
The one and only Nancy Wilson alongside Andy Williams... demonstrating humor, grace and amazing talent.

What a gorgeous woman Nancy was in her heyday.....still beautiful today too!
Great performance.

So Wonderful.
Boy, it doesn't get much better than that.
I could do without Andy Williams, but oh I still go nuts listening to her. I'm so grateful for this being posted!
They sound wonderful! Auto tune is cheating us of quality music as this. Raw soothing talent
Yoiks. What style, what grace, what musicianship.
What a wonderful combination! Nancy is so wonderful!
A totally elegant lady and totally unique artist. She has always done everything just right. Looks today and sounds today better than ever.
Nancy Wilson just incredible, and Andy Williams knows how to make her shine even more brightly, if that's possible.
Oh be still my heart. Not to mention my ears!!! Awesome, thanks for the post
Sheer loveliness. I miss musical variety television.
So here we've got us a "new" favorite!. What a superb class act and I really mean both of them. My ole' ticker is getting warm...
Beautiful singing
This was magnificent. No one can do this anymore...how sad.
Fab. Thanks for posting. Never heard of her but worth every second of watching.
seemingly effortless!

Outstanding
This was 1966.
her anthology
"It's more fun with guys." Oh My God.. Did he really say that? And this was the 1960s
This is wonderful! Anyone know when this performance took place? I would guess early '60s with the beehive hair and mod fashion...
1966.
@oceanbound222 You're CLEARLY confused. Nancy Wilson is feminine and elegant and classy.
@oceanbound222 Sweetie do you even know what Butch means????
We have FIOS TV and I don't even watch TV anymore. It's so awful.
Andy probably wanted to plant a tender kiss on her cheek after the song, but the sponsors frowned upon that stuff back in the day. Racism is so ugly!
