The tip to swap to sniper for a body shot after hitting a headshot with your hand cannon, during a peek duel, is very good. This is something I discovered outside of this video that gets me a lot of kills, I am glad to see it mentioned here
This video gives some really good advice...I've always loved sniping and this playstyle fits what I find fun, I just need to get better aim and crosshair placement

Found your channel just barely, I feel like the way you explained the scenarios and play style is super clear. The differences and tips, and how important things are is communicated well assuming someone has a baseline understanding of sniping already. I definitely have been trying to get better at sniping and feel like these tips are very worth it to try and level up my gameplay.

I loved this and I can't wait for the second part. Have you ever tried using Tommy's or DMT on your warlock? It offsets the low handling on both weapons, and they're pretty good duelers at their respective ranges because of the hipfire nature
you made this very well. I feel like so many destiny 2 content creators these days give specific advice for less experienced people to have a goal to chase after. in reality bein a good player is finding what everyone else is doing and adapting to it which can sometimes be very specific to one person. you made this open ended which is a nice change of pace.

been really motivated to get good at sniping this season. just hit 1200 kills with my beloved and your vids have been great motivation for when i have a bad stretch🤝
also great point about not being afraid to body shot. i used to get tunnel visioned on trying to get a headshot and that made me a worse sniper. obviously you still wanna aim for the head but a body shot and quick-swap to a hc or smg is still too fast for most people to react to

It's a high skill high reward playstyle, but, it's also very fun, so, everyone out there, really give this advice a try, you might find you're an absolute precision beast.

I’ll definitely add that in the next guide! There’s for sure a few things you can do to help but it is definitely tough so don’t feel bad, flinch is a very frustrating mechanic on both sides haha but it’s definitely necessary in snipers

That being said what we really need to know is your shader game. You’re on point specifically:
1. Beloved / Austringer
2. Adored (shader and skin)
3. Frozen Orbit
4. Eye of Sol (gold one)
The people need to know!
Haha😂..beloved should be biolume,austringer is tidesmoke, frozen orbit is dreaming spectrum, but I’m not sure on eye of sol :/
Try the shadow gilt on eye of sol, it makes it fully gold
Im a little less than average when it comes to sniping and i noticed its my poor choices and lack of awareness that screws me up, but i did get some usefull tips from this video will probably try some of them out

I've always struggled with reticle placement, either I'm too high or too low. Aside from practice, is there any visual cue that I can use that might help? Maybe from the scope?
Hmmm honestly I can’t really think of anything like that to help, it really just comes down to practice and repetition I think!

I’ve always wanted to be that one insane dude in trials who can snipe under pressure and hit heads up close or while jumping
i got aim down and movement but the only thing im struggling with a bit is balancing when to use my primary and when to snipe. i feel like im using my sniper too much
Haha yeah I do this too, always could for practice tho so it’s not a terrible habit tbh!

I took m&k and controller flawless over 20times and i CAN say, that controller is bae for close range sniping, its just so consistent. However, ALSO in close range m&k with shotguns or fusions are just insanely hard to play against. So ups for both sides. Keep it up man!

@PokeJin WWI I’ve gotten only one beloved from a chest but it was after I had the pattern
The best way to actually get it is from the helm each week so if u want beloved and austringer it’ll take u 10 weeks which really really sucks so it get everything it’ll take all season

@PokeJin WWI to me frozen orbit was next level and occulided finality was a beast
for this playstyle would u still recommend quick draw or moving target for a beloved
I use QuickDraw but moving target is good too
My biggest thing is my hit reg with a sniper is terrible it either 60% of the time doesn’t register I hit them or I’ll body shot them and it registers 0.5 or 0.6 seconds later super delayed but all other guns are good only snipers do this for me not sure why

What's your sensitivity?
Probably is just muscle memory....but I find it very hard when I slide out of a corner to have my scope placed correctly where it should be! Especially with higher zoom eye of sol.....tips anybody?

you play with a controller .. well nothing ro say with that BUT.. there is definitely a gap between this and mouse and keyboard. I mean, there is no "bullet magnetism" with M&K so.. it's not always gonna happen this "easy" (i know its not this easy tho. however, the no scope melee is absolutely efficient on M&K, just try it more guys. Peace !

My biggest problem is consistency. One day I hit 10 crits in single game and feel like a god and next day I can barely get 2.

I like 720rpm way better than 900rpm. I find them a lot easier to use, probably because of the high range stats.

I'd 100% think you were cheating if I matched you. Some of those clips are absolutely nuts. Could you include your sens and ads modifier? It seems decently high at hip and ads.

It doesnt really bother me that you are using controller tbh, while yes, different inputs but most of advices still apply, the mechanical aim part will be different but otherwise its gonna work mostly the same
