No one is giving up that much for Mikal, especially on a down year and given the 76ers already paid a first for him - I'd love to have him here in Phila but not at that cost and while blowing the crazy cap space/Maxey Bird rights on improving upon one position and remaining static or regressing elsewhere. Morey will hold out for his tunnel-visioned targets and lose out on patching together a team like the video suggests. And for once I'd be happy with Morey if that's the case. There are just too many options out there to blow all your picks and once in a generation cap space for a team that really isn't much better on paper because of it.
I'd much rather pay Oubre 4/80-100mil than gamble on a very streaky and one-dimensional Gary Trent, Jr. He's not starting material on a contending team. Or an aging KCP who has a 16mil PO for a team he won a ring with.

Naw I'm not sure I'm giving up 4-1st Rounders for Bridges/DFS...and I like Ricky Council, because he has "dawg" in him and Nick Nurse needs to play him more because he produces. Whoever we get at SF, can't just be a typical "3 and D" guy, because at the end of the day we gotta score and create secondary offense also
You don’t want to win. The point is making a team to win for tye next 3-5 years. What does it matter if you don’t have draft picks in the next 5 years. You’re a winning team, those picks are low. They aren’t lottery picks. There’s always a problem. Mikal bridges is the right move. He always was.
The nets aren’t giving up bridges and 4 first rounders is an over pay for a role player

Like these proposed moves for 76ers to finally beat Celtics and win championships, the only thing stopping me from loving these moves is trading Jeff Dowtin Jr to the Nets instead of Ricky Council IV if the Nets agree to this swap of players barring major injuries to key players the 76ers would win the next 2-3 nba championships starting with next season 2024/25
I think if you do a mb trade I think you can offer reed and council with 2 first round picks for mb and finney smith but 4 to 5 is way to much to give away. I understand were trying to go all in but I think you can do both add a star and draft a prospect while signing depth and maybe another piece
Bridges is the right move. The picks don’t matter. Ppl obsess over them. It’s not that serious if we don’t have first round picks on a winning team the next 5 years.

Except Mikal Bridges doesn’t get you an NBA title himself! The 76ers need a lot more than just Mikal Bridges; that’s why I don’t make that trade! They need about 5 more players besides Embid, Macey, and Bridges! Giving up all of our picks would screw us; because people aren’t coming to play in Philadelphia for the league minimum! I would rather sign Miles Bridges for just cash! He averaged 20 pts. and 8 rebounds per game the last two seasons!

What are the Nets gonna do in 2 years with an older Bridges and then needing to max him out? Rather trade him with good ROI than wait for him to ask for a trade out of a bad team.
Trading for Brandon Ingram might not cost as much. Wouldn't be a bad 2nd & cheaper option that can score & be a wing.

the roster described is solid, with the exception of being weak at PF but not horrendous. But it's not dethroning the celtics. There would be nice pieces to have as trade chips, but since you gave all of our draft capital away, there wouldn't be any way to improve from this roster.
I think we have to focus on not what Boston can do, but what we have to do! Championships are no giving! They are hard to win! Go sixers!

I don't fear the Celtics they're gonna be a better more confident team next season but they're still unproven no Jimmy/Terry vs Miami, no Mitchell/Allen vs Cavs, no Haliburton/Bennedict vs Pacers if the Orlando Magics had that path they're in the finals easily

Mikal is probably not happening neither is Lauri... Go down the list of bad teams and who they could get. Murray, Bogdan, Hunter, Capela. Poole, Kuzma, Kispert, Deni. Grant, Simons, Brogdon. Clarkson, Sexton, Collins. Brown, Okynyk, Boucher. That’s kind of where you’re most likely to going to find a willing trade partner.
Sign Jalen Smith, trade for Caruso and/or Dyson Daniels. Deni Avdija is another option to trade for, but Mikal will cost too much in trade, if even available.

I think between Batum and DFS you will always have a solid 4 man out there. DFS is underrated, hasn’t been able to show his impact on winning in Brooklyn

Sixers can't catch Boston for the next 4 years, it's a wrap. It's time to trade Embiid and build around Maxey, you can get back just about anything for Embiid. Combine Maxey with a younger star player that's not injury prone to grow next to, draft well and they might have a chance at Boston down the road and be the team to beat for few a few years.

I can do better in four moves. Go and sign Miles Bridges 26 years old 21,7,3 a game and give up nothing. Then go and trade for 28-year-old Kyle Kuzma 22,6,4 a game, and he makes 23 million a year, give them 2 first round picks. Sign Andre Drummond and then go sign Gary Trent Jr. That's already a better team period and have not signed the free agents we have.
I think Miles Bridges and KCP > Mikal & Kuz. Plus DFS
