    I wanna see a Ton of vampire lairs. You seem to be very hesitant to place more than one per area (reasonably for level reasons) but I think just having twenty all pinging the enemies would be amazing.

      I did just this, and got to wave 69, almost killed the grim oogie, but he lived by the slimmest health margin. He just got to moving too fast :/

      i imagine they will just smoke the weaker stuff, since its insane damage with a cooldown, but if everything almost hits at once, thats just stacked damage all the way, and if you add a lookout or two for single target and max crit, i dont think much will survive

    It kinda looks like monuments are a kind of dot, they seem to keep hitting things outside of the range of the tower.

      If that's the case its kind of a shame they don't apply dots themselves! but it also raises the question of whether multiple monuments can be hitting the same target

      @@rngesus8057 the way monuments work is that they get a damage bonus based on DoTs rather than providing a DoT of their own: one of the cards is +1 damage to burning enemies; basically base damage. So all damages get +1. With that it doesn't matter what the target has shield/armor/health, as long as it burns, it's taking that +1 hit. Each DoT has 2 levels of cards, and they unlock at +2 damage to health, armor, or shields. So if you have a ballista with all 3 Dots that tags a target, and the monument has all the extra damage if the target has a DoT, they're doing up to +6 base damage.

      Once it hits, the damage keeps going until it either hits the keep, or the target is dropped. With a lot of slow, a nicely twisting path, anda freeze or 3 never hurts, the same tower can hit the target again. I had a game where it looped and the Oogie had multiple swords from the same tower wailing on it.

    Not sure if you realized it (didn't hear you mention it) but every round starting at 46 the game automatically buffing the enemy stats. It started adding like 5% to each of the health/armor/shield, then 10, 15, 20, 25% etc. Similarly it was adding 0.10 movespeed each round, so between level 50 and 55 when you faced the same Oogie again the stats had been cranked waaay up. So you didn't really get a single-target-damage-check, more that the endless mode difficulty just scaled way up.
    Also, glad to hear you mention somebody commented the tree value goes up by the level squared, might have been from a wall of text I commented on one of your other videos haha

      Yep I think was you :) I think I mentioned the scaling? Maybe didn't though but yeah saw the patch notes... the speed is rough for units with low base speed they end up double speed pretty quick. One interesting effect is the percentage difference in move speed between fast and slow units becomes less and less....

    I would have liked to have seen way more Vampire Lairs blanketing the map and overlapping each other. Also, canons at the corner of any L shaped area is a good idea since it'll catch lines coming and going.

      Cannons and VLs are amazing together. On my VL achievement run, once I hit endless mode I started spamming cannons and frost towers. Made it to 59 before I was just overwhelmed by the shear numbers. I had to turn off the damage and damage effects graphics as my comp is older was begging for mercy.

    I did a similar run to you but i got that rare 13 block square with the portal in the middle so i ended up going into vampire lair. After winning with just them and 3 cannons(I had a couple straights) and 2 monuments (for early shields and later shields) vampire lairs are a must build for me. I used to use radar for my back line because it would help me clean up boss/mini-boss and any near death, but after seeing the potential of vampire lairs; I think you can run all the way to 14 just with two of them up til the first split in the map and then building your death boxes in front so the vampire lair can clean-up and tag dots to all enemies as they enter the kill zones. I think it’s smart to only invest enough to get all range and dots on the vampire lair just because they probably won’t be your highest single target tower.

    I think the issue near the end was the fast towards while thinking. If you spent the time thinking at a slower speed, you could have had a chance to upgrade where you needed.
    Other than that, this was very entertaining!

    Curious why you didn't start reinforcing that keep early, especially since you were looking to get long lanes on your cannons. A cannon on either side of that keep facing down the lanes would have done great work, and then vampire lairs or monuments on the higher corner towers would have given amazing range.

    cannons are bad unless you tunnel in on them, been only able to get to wave 38 on normal so far with them even when I did pop off with them. the problem is even if you get a strait away they do not hit down the whole lane for some reason.

    This game has a realissue with it's UI. As a content creator i think you should do a better job at staying zoomed in so we can actually see what's happening. other than that i enjoyed the content. gj

    People sleep on those towers cause they only build one per its aoe when if you got 4 then you can cover ever damage type with one free to spec how you want. And they melt everyone

    Can anyone explain why buliding in that triple wrap around area would "grief" the run? Not really a rouge tower player but in other TD games thats like a god path to build towers

      I have a portal that doesn't go through there, if all my portals went through there it would be great but for non-single target if we spam AOE in that area we'd likely lose to the portal close to our base that doesn't go through there.

      No last targeting....... unless I'm like uber dumb - I think there is a mod that adds but it's not in the base game. But yeah would be nice for cannons.

    I desperately wanna love this game but my computer is wide but the issue is that the text is incredibly blurry. I've tried so many foxes but the text is next to unreadable

      @@ACRPlaysGames I have done that through the launch descriptions. The text is still so blurry that I can't read a single thing or it cuts off the very bottom of the screen. I can currently play but I'll have to take breaks from it sometimes cause of the eye strain.

      I sort of try not to use the pause since you can't pause in the base game so it's kind of cheating vs the speedup just speeding things up and actually probably makes the game a bit harder.

      @@ACRPlaysGames Well, that's just stressful. Might be good for video purposes as you force your runs to both end earlier wave-wise, and ensure waves have a max-time they can take. But outside recording, not using pause only moves the "cheating" to be that ppl with higher APM (also likely ppl with bigger monitors) having the advantage. Which is more unfair in a Tower Defence (aka a game about strategy rather than about measure of UI-copium), than a pause that everyone can use.

      mines give tower max HP and haunted houses give a % of tower max HP as gold. So they act as multiplier for haunted houses!
