I was just discussing Hermeneutical rules with a Post Mill student of mine. The timing of this video couldn't have been better. Thanks Dr. Vlach.

I just finished reading your book “Dispensational Hermeneutics” yesterday. CZcams must have their spies… 🤔😉 I’ve been so encouraged and edified by both your books and videos. Thank you so much. 🙏

Dr Vlach, thanks for the clip. I agree with where you stand. Another type of charge I know some dispensationalists have faced is “you are over-Judaizing the New Testament/gospel teachings” which is along very similar lines to the “you are pushing for an Old Testament override/using the Old Testament to reinterpret the New Testament” one that you had raised.

Thank you! Clear and concise. I am very grateful for your presentations. Is it possible for one to have access to the slides used on CZcams lessons? Or maybe they are already available somewhere. Anyway, I am thankful for this material. 😄

I guess I would disagree with not having "Old Testament priority." But what I mean by that is I believe in progress of revelation. The Old shouldn't be interpreted by the new. But the new constantly alludes to the old, and sometimes meaning cannot be known apart from a knowledge of the text the author is alluding to.

This is what dispensationalists are doing most consistently as can, we call this the “Jewish frame of reference”
