Having been born in a Catholic household and having been to church most of the Sundays is not the same as BEING a Catholic. How much you do know about the doctrines of the Church?! Have you ever studied the Church Fathers, Catechism of the Catholic Church, Cardinal Newman, G. K. Chesterton, or any recent Catholic thinkers and apologists?! I know what makes Protestantism attractive to namesake Catholics. Because I had been there. I was born a Hindu and I had been a Protestant for almost 17 years who was about to become a pastor very shortly and converted to Catholicism and remains one now for almost 6 years. What a narrowninded sentimentalist bigot Protestantism would make one, I know very well. And I know very well too what such sentimentalism would look like to a barren namesake Catholic. What you are witnessing in the Protestant environment is not spirituality, but mere sentimentality. Please study the doctrines of the Church and why they are there in the first place .. don’t be fooled by the imperfect practice of those doctrines or by Protestant half-truths about them. It’s foolish to judge anything by its abuse. Its like judging democracy as wrong because of the abuse of it by corrupt politicians.. stay or leave; but before you leave, please try to know what you leave from….

I was sad when he died last year. But now with all this craziness I rejoice the Lord take him home. I can imagine him enjoying the presence of his Lord and Savior.

If there was only one teaching that I could recommend to someone, it would be this one. So many or let astray by false teachings and misinterpretations of the word of God. What a blessing, that David Paulson stood strong and spoke loudly and unashamed with the truth of the gospel message. I look forward to meeting him one day in eternity.

Matthew 24 32-51, Mark 13 28-36 and Matthew 25 1-13 is the ending of the
church age. It is a different day than Luke 21 24-29, Matthew 25 28-31
and Mark 13 27-18. This day is the ending of the times of the Gentiles
on the last day of Daniel's 70th

I just found Mr Pawson the other night. Love his sermons. What a speaker. I feel like I understand the bible better.
I’m so thankful that he isn’t teaching the lies of the rapture. So many are going to fall away when they realize they’ve been deceived. I would rather be prepared for the worst than have some unbiblical false hope.
dmblilgirl23 You are right. I recently encountered a woman who believed in the Pre-Trib rapture. She was all about "I love Jesus! "I can't wait to see him." When someone proved that the rapture does not come before tribulation she , in her own words, "Went back to drinking because as a woman who could not have babies I have already had enough tribulation."
He is with the Lord now, a soft-spoken Bible teacher whose teachings leave a deep impact in your heart n soul.
i did my 2 MA in theology and planning to do my D.Min but i have never seen such a man who is full of a word of God. Almost in avery two days im watching his teaching like my online class.

God is faithful to strengthen us when we face temptation and trials. If you are in a tough situation, learn into the Lord. Allow his word to build up your faith. God wants to remind you that he is there for you, especially in our darkest moments. He promises that we that are his will be protected from the traps of the evil one

Fyodor48 It's just the grace of God that has led us to these men and their teachings. So many others follow their itching ears, but God in HIs grace has led us to men who preach the word, even and especially the difficult parts.

Dear brother/sister in christ please pray for me. I have finished my chemotherapy for cancer. While undergoing treatment my two daughters moved out suddenly, my mother died, and my wife almost died due to covid. I suffer from anxiety attacks and depression. I suddenly have become an empty nester. I have been crying every day since February 27th the day my eldest daughter left. I am anxious about my situation and feel like i'm not needed anymore. Feel like a senior in an old folks home just waiting for death or the rapture. I'm expected back at work on August 3rd and I am fearful of going back. I have 2.5years before I can get a full pension. Am in debt for$26,000. My sisters are fighting for money from my mothers house. And call me often to complain. Like Elijah, I have prayed to the Lord to take my life. Please pray for me.
Dear Brother, please get help from a doctor. Know that we are only to take life one day at a time. Pray, do what you can, and Leave the rest to him. I will be praying for you.

christopher benson I feel the same way. It’s very discouraging how many have fallen for what I can only describe as a trick from Satan himself. This pre trib teaching with its insanely out of context passages and scriptural gymnastics of extreme eisegesis is dangerous because it’s a passivity doctrine and will lead many to lose their faith because they’ll be disheartened and probably be among the first to fall for the anti christ in their hurry to leave this world.
Those garbage Left Behind films and books don’t help, and I’m already seeing comments like “how long now, I’m soooo weary” etc etc....

If you read the first three verses of chapter 24 ( which he skipped), the disciples clearly ask about two separate events. When will the temple be destroyed? And When is his return? The temple was destroyed in 70ad, some of this prophecy is referring to that event. It is incorrect to apply all of chapter 24 to end times.
@Jackfrost not sure what I need to explain. Applying the whole chapter to the end times is incorrect. Jesus is answering the disciples two questions.
You are correct. There are two questions: When will the temple be destroyed; and what will be the signs of His return and the end of the age. These two questions are related, and the answer to the timing is the same: before that generation passed away. These two chapters speak of the end of the Mosaic age and the beginning of the age of grace. This happened in A.D. 70 with the destruction of the temple and the Jewish priesthood.
We know that both questions are related because the part of speech joining them (in Greek and English) is a conjunctive adverb. When it is preceded by a comma, the two statements are related, or dependant. When it's preceded by a semicolon, the two statements are independent. The translators were very careful to capture this essence and carry it through into the English.

Rev Pawson is a little heavy in the statement of the three parables of Matt 25, who can be saved by the deeds alone ? Who can be qualified by the deeds and good works ? No one, we shall all fall short of the glory of God. We are save by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Even our good works are by the grace of God.
I really love David Pawson but respectfully he is wrong about the frequency of earthquakes (and volcanoes, fireballs, etc). I am a mathematician and computer science engineer. I did an in depth study of just thus question - it turns out that they have all increased. Not because of variances in media or populations or geography but in the actual number of events. I did this study back in 2003 and even then, I calculated a 400+% (!!!) increase in earthquakes alone in the four decades I reviewed at that time (60s, 70s, 80s, 90s).
In case you're interested, yes, the average magnitudes of these have also ticked up quite significantly, though I can't recall the exact percentage. The increase in frequency was alarming enough that it seared into my brain.
And that was 2003!
Can you imagine if the study was repeated today?
Well it's not as easy to get the real data as it was back then.
Which I guess is an indicator that the powers that be don't really want that information publicized these days. Which in itself testifies to an exponential increase so alarming the best they can do is distract?

Pawson says that looking at Israel in "no way" helps us understand when Christ will return. Depending on the interpretation of Zechariah 14, this is incorrect. Assuming Zechariah 14 to be literal, just before He returns Israel will have been invaded: "the city will be captured, the houses plundered, the women ravished and half of the city exiled, but the rest of the people will not be cut off from the city.…In that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives," Refer to the remainder for further details.

That's a very good point you made about Zechariah 14. .In all likelihood Zechariah 14 Is a literal prophecy. .there is nothing symbolic about "women ravished"(!)
