  • Truma ultraheat, Truma blown air, truma s3002 blow air Here we show the operation of the truma blown air side of the Truma ultraheat fire. This works from the 12v side of your power supply. So if you go camping without 230v hookup then the gas fire and blown air heating will still work.
    We have plenty of caravans on our website www.thecaravanplace.com that have the blown air heating and truma ultrastore fire.

    When using A the Dale becomes the maximum it will go to so if at 2 on A it won’t go higher

    On the heater, the dial with numbers 0-10, if I'm just using electric heating and ive set the smaller dial which is separate to the heater. Do i still need to use the larger dial on the heater?

      Large dial is just gas, the smaller panel on the wall is all the electrical side. 👍

    Hi. Not sure if my heater is exactly the same model, but the blown air controller is the same. The fan has stopped working. Any suggestions of a likely fix?

    • @thecaravanplace
      @thecaravanplace  Před 4 lety +1

      There should be a fuse for the fan or possibly aux. Check the fuses. If all OK possibly the little fan unit itself, you can buy them separately. But check the fuses first.

    We have a swift challenger and the front of the truma gas fire tends to jump off when we are towing, any tips on how to fix this please

      You are able to put screws through just under the black top and above the first grill. You will see little holes to put the screws through. Hope this helps.

    Hi, I started the engine on my motorhome and now the fan on the fire has stopped working, will the fuse be in the main fuse box for the motorhome tia.

    • @thecaravanplace
      @thecaravanplace  Před 2 lety +1

      Yes it should be within the other habitation fuses, possibly the Aux fuse or similar.

    When using on gas,do you need to turn the electric off anywhere?

    • @thecaravanplace
      @thecaravanplace  Před 3 lety +1

      You can turn the wall switch with 2000, 500 and 1000 to the 0 and that will turn the electric off. 👍

    Any ideas please .. fan works but blowing cold air on electric. Heater works with gas but not with electric.
    Any ideas for troubleshooting? We'd prefer to use electric heating.
    Please help x

      @thecaravanplace  Před 2 lety

      You should have a fuse in the power switch, if the fuse is ok, then its possibly the pcb or element, a caravan engineer should be able to test it.

    Hi my Truma Heater is not blowing any hot air and making a clicking sound Regards

    • @thecaravanplace
      @thecaravanplace  Před 3 lety

      Hi The clicking may be the gas Knob is turned and needs turning back past 0?
      If the blown air isn't working it will either be a fuse or the blown air controller.

    Can it work just from the leisure battery?

    • @thecaravanplace
      @thecaravanplace  Před 5 měsíci

      Yes, gas and 12v will do the blown air 👍

    Can you tell me where the reset button is ? Caravan tech guy said it’s a reset button but we can’t find the reset button

    • @thecaravanplace
      @thecaravanplace  Před 4 lety

      Unfortunately the Truma don't have a rest button, the old carver did but not the Truma, you do have a fuse in the mains switch and there will be a fuse for the blown air heating. Let us know what's not happening and we can try to help.

    Help please! COLD AIR BLOWING OUT.
    I’m plugged in at the mains and have my ultraheat dial set to 2000 (green led on), thermostat at 9 (I hear the thermostat click in as I turn the control up).
    On the vent I’m at ‘A’ position, dial at 5 and air is blowing out - but blowing constantly cold even after 20 minutes.
    So there is a fault somewhere.
    I hope it’s not the PCB which I have been reading about as that sounds costly and tricky to replace.
    Any ideas before I go down that route?

    • @thecaravanplace
      @thecaravanplace  Před 3 lety

      Hi, If you turn the fan off and try without and see if heat comes out the front of the fire? Try on 1500 and 500 to see if it works on any settings. This will help to see if it's a faulty pcb or the heat element. If it's not working on any settings it may be the element but would need testing. If works on 1500 or 500 possibly the pcb. Hope this helps.

      @@thecaravanplace many thanks for the rapid response. I tried your suggested steps.
      No heat produced at 500 or 1000 either.
      Unfortunately out of warranty but I’ll have to get someone out and take a look.
      At least we aren’t currently away on it in this freezing May bank holiday!
