Hello, I have an older caravan with a similar stove. The problem is that I can light the flame by pressing the button down, but when I release it or try to move it, it goes out.
Could you help me figure out what's going on?

Can you use the heater on electric alone? If so is it as simple as turning on at the wall and using with or without the fan as required?

I can tell the gas heater is not getting hot enough because the blown air is just on the coolish side of lukewarm. Do you think it needs looking at?

Does the fan draw in fresh air from the outside? And does the gas burner use fresh air from the outside?
