I saw the Monkees in concert Chicago summer '67. It was a riot almost - they were so hot back then. I couldn't see or hear a thing. I can't believe Davy is not with us anymore. God bless him! From an early fan.
to die means that from something you become nothing, nothing like that has happened here. davy jones goes on and on, theres nothing to cry about rock on davy

Betty Bartley Yes he could have, but Arteriosclerosis was slowly attacking his arteries for decades. Sadly he could have saved his life from it. Gone way too soon.
@cbarrett34 This is not 2006. It's before my time, and I started going in 2002. He signed before the show in 2002, and hasn't done it since. (Unless he started up again in 2010.) Also, I have video for all the shows from 2002 - 2009 and I just took a peek at 2006. His hair was longer. :)
It surprises me nobody's questioning the given details of place of death-it's been reported that he died in his sleep (though he was complaining of chest pains/difficulty breathing -so how is that dying in your sleep?) or that he died in his car,or that he died in his stable with his beloved horses,and now I read again that he died in his sleep!!?They can't all be true,so it does make one wonder!!I'm gutted he died as I had a meet and greet ticket (to meet Davy last year,but was unwell to go!!)
@cbarrett34 I feel bad about how he was never able to get some better shots at tv and pop music after the Monkees declined. The singer of Daydream Believer.. truly a pop masterpiece of the great 60s music explosion should have never had to worry about money again. Still he carried himself with dignity and lived to tell the tale giving a lot to his fans with every performance be it ever so humble. By the way.. HOTTIE at 1:22 into the vid.. he sang to the most beautiful women!
