Davy Jones sings "Daydream Believer" at the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival in 2012.
This turns out to be the last video we will take of Davy Jones at Epcot - Enjoy!
When I was 12 I daydreamed of Davy Jones. We grow older, our dreams and desires change, but when I heard he died the tears were those of a young girl. Sleep Peacefully Davy.
Davy was an entertainer instilling joy in everybody's heart. What a treasure! Miss him.
Still so unbelievable that this awesome, loving, talented man is gone. Loved you when I was a little girl. Love you even more now as an adult & I truly see what a beautiful, caring man you were. So sad to know you are gone. 😢
Davey was a genuine, wonderful, down to earth and caring man. Look how happy Davey made that mom who was holding her baby when he stepped down from the stage & surprised her by singing right behind her as she was being videotaped next to the stage. Davey gave that family a memory to treasure. He made that girl's day. Davey truly appreciated his fans & never hesitated to sign autographs & pose for pictures & shake hands. Our loss is Heaven's gain. Davey sings among God's angels now. RIP.
That's what a true artist does. He seeps into our souls and never leaves.
R.I.P. Davy your music will live forever. Thanks for the video.
The kind of message a performer puts out to the world says a lot about them. They are branded with an image that can vary across the board, but the entertainment executives seems to love most when they push everything negative or mean or dirty and rewards them for it. Davy always chose to take the high road and bring people joy, make them laugh, make them smile. Maybe he just thought that was his best way to make money. I like to think that he chose that for more than just money. I’m sure he had opportunities to take the low road especially when the Monkees slowed down, but he didn’t. The guy was a hell of a performer that made people smile until the day he died and beyond.
I loved Davy Jones...I had his pictures on my wall at age7. Monkee's know how to have FUN! Davy, you will be missed and remembered as a fun, CUTE, singer and dancer!
