Add a Boss OC-3 octaver pedal on 'poly' mode, and the bass starts pumpin' out. It only doubles the lowest note! Then you have your own trio :)

I’ve had the BeatBuddy for a while , not only is it good to play along with but sure makes practicing a whole lot more fun. I run mine through a bass amp, just sounds better to me going through it.

Im interested in using one of these to construct and store songs for live use. Is this possible with the pedal alone, or dors it invole a whole load of tinkering with the manager software..computer etc?

I am on the fence with this pedal, in a live situation: on paper it seems like a great idea, but I notice that people get turned off when they see “one man band” people with too many parts put in...
3:01 was where I lost control of my bowels
0:33 sounds like it would be a Foo Fighters song
...one thing missing, if you are using a drum pedal, you then need the bass player!!...either loop the bass but then you need a looper!!...might as well go with the new Boss RC-10R...but the jazz section with 5/4 and other odd tempos is really a great feature with the beat buddy!!...
I have RC-10R, but I’m thinking to get a beat buddy. Really want to have that free control for sudden break and adding accent. Great demo!!

Usually the standard with drummers on a crash hit is to hit the kick drum at the same time. To bad they didn't make the single hit sample that way. Its it possible to make your own?

Yes you can edit a parts for a while song in the software on the computer and load into the pedal
Hei, thanks for your video. Can you help me? I have a RC 300 which I think is a great looper but I do not find the drums so good. Now I’ve bought a Beatbuddy (has nor arrived yet/can’t wait🤩) but.... Do you know, if I can just record a drumloop from Beatbuddy to one Track on the RC and built a song up from there? (I’m not so good with all that technology stuff, so I hope there is an easy way to solve the problem!

Just a major 7 barre chord (F kinda shape moved up to 5th fret from 1st)

The Beat Buddy should of been made a little heavier, as it has a tendency to move easily when you step on the pedal. For the price I paid 300.00$ I shouldn't have to pace it on a mouse pad to keep it in place . The velcro that's included with the Beat Buddy is just pure nonsense. But overall it's better than other drum machines out there for guitar players. #🎸🎸🎸

Can you help me or anyone on here help? My left button on the accessory pedal Hits the symbol TWICE and sound=s like crap. Once when I step on it & again when I let off .........anyway to change this to Single crash?
You can change the sound of the Footswitch buttons by going to the BB menu. To access the BB Menu press both buttons (drum set & tempo) together. Feel free to contact us at support@singularsound.com if you have further questions.

Can this play any rockabilly ?
The BB comes with some grooves that mimic the rockabilly style. Find out more here: singularsound.com/product/beatbuddy/
The BB does not have stereo input from my effects processor/ laptop. One of the biggest downfalls, and of course, no battery power.
Hi Tim , thanks for the feedback. The BB has a true stereo In and Out 1/4 inch ports that can be easily plug into a PA system or full range amp.

Yes, I use it on my tascam dp32sd for recording & song writing. I would upgrade to a tascam dp32sd for recording ur music, the Quality is Awesome.

The one behind me on floor is a Boss Tuner and the one next to beat buddy is a separate trigger pedal for the beat buddy which is all explained after I stop playing \m/

How do you amplify the Beatbuddy ? When I play with phones it is great but not with may guitar amp.
You can put in effects loop or use a separate amp to get a clear sound
Hey there, we highly recommend not plugging your BeatBuddy into a guitar amp but into a full-range speaker for the highest sound quality. A full-range speaker can include a PA, keyboard amp, bass amp, acoustic/vocal amp, etc.
You should try the Digitech trio too, it's a fun pedal

How the heck is this a whole band?

Karl I need your help! i bought an audio interface similar to yours (Focusrite Scarlett solo) and when I go into guitar rig 5 or Amplitube it gets my guitar signal but the audio doesnt come to the monitors or the headphones, any help?plsss (great video btw ^^)
