Here's a weird tip. You can connect your phone to your deck with bluetooth and any audio you play on your phone will play on the deck. Another convenient way to listen to a podcast or music while gaming.
Holy shit that's awesome!
that's really cool, thank you.
Not to mention a seamless way to use discord
This works a little, but anything that comes out of my headphones pauses every few seconds making it pretty much unusable. Maybe it works with wired headphones and speakers, but it doesn't look like it works with Bluetooth headphones.
@@TheUnorthoboxLinkdamn thanks lol 😅didn’t think of that
I watch a lot of CZcams and it's so refreshing to find an information packed video without waffle or begging
there are actually great tips
🙌🏻
How many tho
Yeah, what is this nonsense? Where’s all the nonsense?
Yeah there are, I’m waiting to find a video that has any though

Steam deck is the greatest handheld of all time, at least for me. You guys just don't know how long I've been waiting for a handheld that allow yous to play 3rd party games on the go. I've had a GB Advance, DS, DSI, 3DS, Switch, PSP, and PS Vita.
Being able to play GTA4, GTA5, COD, Just Cause, day one automatically was a dream and now it's a reality. I dont have to hope and wonder if a certain game is coming out for a specific handheld anymore because if its coming to PC then it's coming to the Steam Deck.
I've had the original Gameboy, Gameboy Advance, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo 3DS. Sadly never got around to psp, Vita, or that Sega handheld. I've also got an Anbernic device.
The Steam Deck is an absolute game changer. It's the most exciting thing I've purchased in years.
How to download extensions?
GameGear was pretty top notch... Id put it above just about any non pc ran handheld.
This video is perfect. Concise, clear, helpful. Production quality is fantastic -hoping the channel grows, and thanks for the great content!
lol he ran out of tips around 38 and started repeating the same tips in different ways 😂
@@Medsas What tips did he repeat? He gave a few different tips related to storage instead of just saying "upgrade the storage," but he didn't repeat any of them.
Background music caused a headache. Had to stop in first tip
He was really reaching into basic non deck tips by tip 15, not DL when playing games, duh, and 20 others.
I think I watched every single video about the Steam deck a week before I got it delivered and yet I found a couple of nice tips that I didn't know about in this video.
Thanks!
Amazing video! I've had my deck for like half a year, so I thought I found every kink of it to optimise, but your guide gave me like 3-4 more things to play with. Thank you!
That Matrix style boot animation is bloody beautiful.
Do you any idea how to download it ?
@@NoFuture2012 he showed a plugin in the video on how to get it
@@fazeelraza5215 so how do i download it?
Great tips! A few days ago I ordered a Steam Deck and your video already helped me on what to look for when it arrives!
Ordered my deck today and this has been a good watch. Liked too so I can come back to it when it arrives, thanks!
Nicely done, loads of tight packed information neatly delivered. Doing research as my Deck is comming soon. And we plan to use it as a media device next to our TV as well.
Absolutely fantastic video. Thanks Specter!
Just ordered my steamdeck Thursday. I'm excited for when it comes in! ❤
I'll be honest, most of these I already knew, but I love watching these videos for the simple things that I might miss. Like #37, I had no idea about the Xbox controller syncing and I'm excited to give this a try for myself later today. Gave the video a thumbs up and good on ya.
What a great vid man! So many good tips and tricks condensed into 10 minutes. Love it!
Less than 10 minutes, lier
Great video. For sure gonna rewatch when I finally get my hands on the thing here is Aus.
Great video man, hands down best one I've watched on the subject 👍
Super dope super well produced video. Subbed and stoked for more!
Best steam deck tips video, mainly because its rapid. Awesome job
50 tips in 10 minutes! just what i needed, great video =]] thank you for your hard work !
Hey bro. Good job on this video. It’s professional and helpful. Keep it up
Awesome video, man! Looking forward to have my Deck
Thanks for putting this together, good video
Thankyou for this perfect and helpful information about the steam deck.
Wow, this is a pretty good quality video. You've got a new sub. Thanks for this!
Amazing video. Clicked on it thinking there’d be some “filler” tips, but absolutely every one was a gold, carefully chosen tip. Thanks a bunch.
No filler tips? You can't be serious, have you read the comments? But his style of delivery of info is top tier. Makes great vids, not his fault deck is limited with tips and info.
Great video I hope to use these tips once I get my problem sorted. Any tips for display accuracy? Can’t get the brightness right 😔 it’s a little blurry!
Good video…. Informative helpful and no annoying self advertisement at the start. Liking and subbing for that
One thing to maybe do, is depending on the type of game you are playing or what you are doing, is you can put a shortcut on your desktop that leads you to game save folders. You can copy save game files, rename backups, and even if you set it up on a LAN with your main pc and set up a network drive, you can manually transfer save game files between your PC and steamdeck!
My cloud data refused to sync when I tried to play Deep Rock Galactic one time. This save file was like 50 hours past where it was on my deck, so there was no way I was just gonna eat the loss of time. I hadnt used the desktop mode before this incident, but it really opened my eyes to just how cool the steamdeck is!
Thank you, I just ordered a steam deck and this will make my initial setup experience very streamlined and future setting fiddling much easier to navigate, also thanks for tips regarding power management and refresh rate for smother game play ❤

Give us an update. How do you like your Steamdeck?
Your presentation quality is next level man. Here's to bringing in the subs you deserve.
❤️
I was going to say the same thing! +1 from me
@@SpecterTech Hey man, what flying game are you playing at the 2:00 mark?
@@SpecterTech remote play, tell me how
@@AdamHoooot I have the same question. Looks dope.
Great video, I have a question how did you add the overlay for Protondb on the Deck?
Appreciate this video! It's a year later and I'm just not getting a steam deck Oled and all of your tips are still relevant!
Concise, dope, thanks!
Respect man. Great video, great tips.
amazing guide, gonna test some
Wow, I thought I couldn't host a remote play together session from the the steam deck. Thanks for this!
Thanks for your vid.. i am thinking of getting a deck for Xmas... your post will come in handy
I'm ordering my steam deck tomorrow, and this video made me even more excited for it! Amazing tips!
Mine is arriving sometime today😁
Look into touch menus in steam input if you play some non gamepad games. Its the best thing I have ever seen in any os. You can basically add infinite inputs to just one trackpad.
Great work!! Real nice tips covering a lot of different things. Was just having issues with a game freezing and one of your tips actually solved my problem 👍👍 awesome.
Thank you!
I'm curious which particular tip was it.
Is it the shader cache clearing?
@@galagast3d I turned on "keep downloading while playing" to try it out, and was playing smaller games for a while so everything ran fine and ended up forgetting about it.. and when I played something more demanding it kept freezing. It really warns you that its not recommended but im an idiot and forgot I had it on.
@@SimonMooreChannel Cool~ thanks for the info Simon!
Wow! Man’s straight outta the gate with actual tips and tricks!
These are actually great tips! I love the fact that buying accessories was only one of the tips, I hate those "10 things to do before using your steam deck" that are 90% "buy this accessory"
Really great presentation
omg thank you for the steamgrid extension tip! Sometimes emudeck rom manager doesn't find artwork and i can fix those easily now!
