    Crystal Lake was one of the best bands I have ever seen live. They were the opener for Northlane, ERRA and Currents, but with the energy they brought and how incredible their performance was, they should definitely of been the headliner. I felt bored after the opener because they just stole the show

  • @avelli
    @avelli Před 2 lety +4

    Great and insightful reaction!!
    If you’re interested in new bands coming up from Japan with great skills, just give a try to check Sokoninaru as well.
    “Tenohira de Odoru” and “Gou No Moyu” are my two recommendations, and hopefully you can check both MV and live version, as their technical excellence must stimulate you to wonder how they play those tune live (and actually they nail them down!). Personally I felt same feeling as one I had when Dream Theater debuted.
    For me Nemophila (you covered last week) and Sokoninaru are two big discoveries during Covid.
    Have a great day!!

    This is CRYSTAL LAKE’s ballad.
    HANABIE (ha-na-bee-eh) are my favorite Japanese Metalcore band. Start with WE LOVE SWEETS (music video). Daughter might appreciate OUR SEVEN DAY WAY (no video for this one).
    Also, check out:
    UNLUKY MORPHEOUS - BLACK PENTAGRAM
    ASTERISM - DAWN (live) 2019/04/20
    DEVILOOF - GOUJINSANGOKU
    And this older stuff:
    X JAPAN - X 1987 (Blue Blood Tour)
    SHOW-YA -WATASHI WA ARASHI (music video)
    D’ESPAIRS RAY - TRICKSTER (official music video)
    ONMYOUZA - HAKKO RANBU (watch the first nine minutes of this live concert. The first song is more melodic; the second song is harder.)
