LYRICS
The journey of a thousand miles begins
I feel that tingling sense of fear
All my life I've been safe in content
Preventing me from leaving here
I saw a world full of hopes and dreams
Never surpassed my mere desires
A rite of passage seems required of me
Before my one chance expires
Until you ride into the unknown
The past won't ever fully show
What you've been devoid of
I never thought I'd take this turn
I never gained the strength to learn
To not give in (To let go)
To let go of this ordeal
I feel discomfort rising
No way of compromising
Now once for all
I'll stand up for myself
Just one more brief excursion
This time with no diversion
No holding back, no chains
I embrace my fears
So many years have passed now
A candle forgotten in a dream
A vision far gone and burnt to ashes
Spread to ignite again
Growing
Until you ride into the unknown
The past won't ever fully show
What you've been devoid of
I never thought I'd take this turn
I never gained the strength to learn
To not give in
To survive
Until I entered the great unknown
The past had never fully showed
What I'd been devoid of
What was stripped away from me
And finally I'm taking this turn
I finally found the strength to learn
To not give in to the fear no more
My journey has now begun

I have all your albums and im really surprised that no one talks about yalls band at all ive never seen any album reviews which im really surprised as your music is really good as im a big progressive metal guy keep up the great work and hopefully yall will get your overdue recognition sincerely JEFF from H TOWN
Thank you so much Jeff! We've actually gotten quite many reviews these past few years and we see the spread of our music increasing more as of late.
Right now we're also at a point in our career where we have the possibility to be more active than ever before, so we are planning to tour some more and we're excited to see where that might lead!
But people like you motivate us a lot! Thank you for all your support! ❤️
Good job guys! Greetings from the Netherlands...
Thank you! ❤️ Lovely Netherlands, so many of you prog metalheads down there! We are hoping to play there in the near future!
Hell yeah, Sweden’s answer to Dream Theater never disappoints! Can’t wait to hear the album! 🙂🤘❤️
🤭 Aww! Thank you Martin!
Can't wait for you to hear it as well!
Yes. When I first heard this, I thought of Symphony X.
@@BrandonGrieve Both Dream Theater and Symphony X are two of our big influences!
suena super genial por mala suerte naci en latinoamerica y aun con una buena voz para el power metal no consigo buen grupo los felicito
Thank you! Finding band members is indeed really difficult, but finding a good band is like finding a family. Hopefully you can find some brothers in arms to share your passion for playing music!
Bra stuff. Precis vad jag behövde på jobbet just nu. 💪

Wonderful! 🤟
Why are European progressive metal bands so heavy on the keyboards?
I would think it's because you can add so many layers to the music with it. If I think about it, why mention European? Dream Theater, and Symphony X are heavy on keyboards too, for example.
Adds more things to explore sonically. It's much like why symphony orchestras consist of 80+ instruments, I'd say.
@@AnthonyBerlin There are many european bands like that. They're giving more emphasis on the prog side, than the metal one and DT are certainly one of their main influences. However, through the years there have been many, which deviated from quite a bit to a lot, from all that. Bands like Threshold, Freak Kitchen, Terra Odium, Horizon's End, Sunburst, Until Rain, Pathosray, Sun Caged, Mekong Delta, Eldritch, Time Machine, Jesters March, Sieges Even, Pain Of Salvation, Depressive Age, Soul Cages, Mayfair, etc
I like the song. But I feel you guys are a little TOO influenced by Dream Theater. If someone told me this was an old DT song, I would believe them, no questions asked. But wheb you sound that much like another band most people will hear you and probably just go back to listening to that band. If you want to break out, you have to do something different from everyone else. Haken is a great example of a band that is clearly influenced by DT, but very much a different band.
I haven't listened to any of your other music. So if this doesn't apply to your other songs, please disregard. But if it does, I hope you start to put out music that sounds less like them and more like you. Because we need more badass prog bands to listen to.
