Janet Yellen’s in her statement in China stressed on ‘excess capacity’ and consequent price cutting as a problem. In effect the advantage of scale with which China beat the world will now reverse.

Lesson for India. India should create infrastructure in a systematic manner based on sound economic consideration especially return on investment. Till today of capacity utilisation is good.

If you hear Indian economists, the window available to us to capitalize on the demographic dividend (young demographic profile of India) is the next 15 years or so. The gap between India and China is still large. We must double up our effort to catch up in the next 15 years. Once our average age of population crosses 35 years, economic growth will become an uphill task. Next 15 years, we should have complete peace in the Indian subcontinent. And no Hindutva business.

    Some points:
    1. The demographic profile is deteriorating but it still not biting the economy because we still have a lot of youth unemployment.
    2. China cannot apply US formula of immigration to counter age if population because China like Japan and Korea is not very welcoming of immigrants
    3. Apart from the Debt trap diplomacy etc the main reason for BRI is to utilise the idle capacity of infrastructure replayed industry like steel, cement, locomotive, Solar panels and many others to generate the extra 1-2% to GDP. This strategy has failed badly.
    4. The rapid expansion of armed forces would have created a huge defence related industries like shipyards etc. Without any headway in export of Chinese weapons, what is the utilisation level of this defence manufacturing capacity.
    5. Question is how much of social security net is there in China. Xi’s sudden turn towards redistribution of wealth may be because of dissatisfaction in the bottom half. This is also the reason for crackdown on edits h and real estate sector

Almost all developed nation are like inflated balloons with debts. So whatever we see as progress and developing are actually debt money only. If we deduce debts/intrests we get actual figure. Loan providing system /world banks has also invasions in policies and decisions besides intrests rates. So extent of political invasions would decide fates of nation.

30:10 What is monopoly in Hindi? No idea!! Neatly sums up the Indian dilemma.
When all your thinking is done in someone else's language it is not possible to progress.
In addition the Indian Army is the most British of all the government instituions in India. Makes it doubly difficult to get away from the British way of thinking, which was never in the interest of India.

China has been hugely impacted by Russia n Ukraine war.. China which was a factory of the workd, was relying heavily on export to Europe n middle east, Africa but with Europe n middle east embroilled in war n Africa being poor, its a death knell for China... I had been saying right from the Russia n Ukraine war n now with Israel war with Gaza that China would be hugely impacted.. Xijingping the emperor for life n CCP have such an archaic, stone age n primitive system thats so opaque as well. China would come back to normalcy of Xijingping the emperor for life n CCP go out of power but the permanent damage has been done to China by Xijingping the emperor for life n CCP 😂😂😂😂😂😂

I am more worried about Bharat than China and Pakistan ..
    - our joblessness is growing.. per capita GDP is like that of poor African nations
and govt is becoming rich ..
    - economic indicators are not at all good while we can do ga ga about our growth.. just see dollar to rupee depreciation, Petrol prices in last 10 years..
    - our internal security situation is alarming.. there is an entire Pakistan within with anti Hindu mindset..
    - and now we are hearing Bharat land is slipping inside Tibet plateau, which means our geography will change in next 1000 years ..
We should stop worrying about others and focus how we can improve .. and keep our country free of corruption, subversion.. grow in education, economy, science, military and health..
China and Pakistan both pose a huge security and geopolitical threat to Bharat..

China is fast becoming "aged" before it could become rich. Availability of younger generation only could keep the China on track of growth by utilising it's richness. Apart from this there is a huge trust deficit for China in the western world. This will in turn reduce international acceptance for China as a trusted leader. China has dispute even with nations whom with it doesn't have shared borders. China has it's own fault lines, geographic as well as cultural which strains it's system so much that it has to spend much more on its internal security as compared to it's external defence. More over China's pricing system is not the outcome of market forces. Prices of products in China is much more regulated rather than the result of economic forces, which can't be perpetuated for long and likely to cause whole economic structure to crumble down of it's own stresses.

@@gunnersshot9829 india population is growing towards 1.5 billion. With population density of 500 people per km2. As india oil reserve is 1/5 of china. natrual gas reserve is 1/4 of china. water resource is 60% of china. With much worse air quality and water quality than china. Higher pollution than china, how many indians are jobless? If young indian cannot find job, population number is useless. Most new indian babies are born in north indian farmers' family. How many of them can find jobs int he future? With 8% of the manufacturing output of china, 1/8 of china's steel production. Pollution is already much worse than china. water scarcity is much worse than china.
