- Part 2 of a periodic series where I take my time solving the black version of the Krypt jigsaw puzzle by Ravensburger to help you relax, perhaps fall asleep, and maybe experience ASMR. As stated in this video, I will be solving some of this puzzle off-camera so that in future videos there will be more progress made.

The majority of videos I create, often in an unorthodox manner, are meant to help you relax, sleep, hopefully experience ASMR, and any other use that might help you find some peace of mind, concentrate, study, decompress, etc.
What is ASMR?
ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. It's just a non-scientific, made-up term that a layperson came up with to describe the feeling characterized as a pleasant tingling sensation felt in various parts of the body (head, scalp, back, legs, etc.) in response to various visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, and/or cognitive stimuli, such as crinkling bags, hand movements, whispering, personal attention or watching someone perform a task. It's like goosebumps, but much more pleasant and without the uncomfortable chills.
ASMR videos are meant to intentionally induce this sensation in the viewer, often referred to as "tingles". However, the videos also serve to provide a relaxing, calming, comforting and soothing experience for people beyond ASMR purposes. Many people who do not experience ASMR still enjoy these videos.
I experienced ASMR all throughout my life but no longer do as of a couple years ago. However, I still enjoy creating these videos for anyone else that still experiences it or is just looking to relax, sleep, study, etc.

The best part about this puzzle is to start from he middle, the middle piece is a very distictive round piece on which you can just guess build. But i guess building edges first does the work too. I built this puzzle is about 4 months with daily attention of two hours. This one is a true cockbender.

Both patience and hot boiling frustration
Just trial and error, again and again, since we don't have any visual reference, the easiest way is to try to fit one piece to every other piece.
Patience and self control, forgotten values apparently...
This seems like some sort of punishment in hell.
When this puzzle is finished it will either be:
A black hole
A portal to another dimension
A black cat looking at us from the abyss
Pure frustration that has come to an end
Petition to get bi-weekly episodes
As long as ER is fine with it
Random suggestion: A paint can has liquid sounds and great tapping sounds, especially with gloves. Keep up the great work!

I did the Silver one in about a week (I did however sit for literally 14 hours straight one of the days)! I'd love to see ~ 60 parts, but this takes a loooooot of determination and self-loathing

I would sort through the pieces based on their inny-outty configuration. That way when you’re looking for something like an edge piece with an inny you can rule out the double outty pieces.

this isn't the type of thing that would normally trigger me but for whatever reason I cannot get enough of this series

Just a tip from someone who doesn’t do puzzles that much:
So far, all of the pieces on the top have the same height and the pieces on the left have the same width,
so maybe further sort the edge pieces into ‘shorty’ and ‘skinny’ piles so you don’t have to search through right or left edge pieces to find a piece that goes on the top or bottom.
(Assuming the pattern stays the same)
I'm a goth, but I'll never be as goth as this puzzle, no matter how hard I try.

You should put the other pieces you are not using yet like non side pieces in crinkly plastic zip bags . Extra asmr and you will not lose pieces . + easier to store

Ravensburger is by far the best quality puzzles. You should always dump the puzzle dust though.

It’s been quite a while, will we be seeing the return of this puzzle ever again? I know it’s probably frustrating and will take a lot of time, but I’ve very much enjoyed watching the couple of episodes we have now :)
You should organize them by the number of holes and tabs. Ex all the pieces that have one tab sticking out and three holes. Then the ones with two sticking out and two holes. I think going by shape is the only way to solve a puzzle like this.
Yeah, this might take a while.
But I think that this puzzle is more an exercise in sorting and dividing.
Like you shouldn't put all the edge pieces on one pile after trying them, but rather split them into at least two different piles based on the "connectors" of the pieces.
I'd like to see you putting this puzzle together in front of the camera, but I totally understand that this might take way too long.

Logically speaking, wouldn't it make more sense to solve this jigsaw by starting with the middle pieces that have more distinct shapes and then move outward?
