Canmore, Alberta, has the 3 Sisters Mountains. Beautiful area. Also above Canmore the view is amazing!
The areas of Canmore, Lake Louise, and Banff, are amazing anytime of year.

So glad to see you enjoyed your visit to my wonderful country! The Banff Springs and Lake Louise Hotels were both built by the Railway in the 1880s as tourist destinations (trying to attract the Eastern tourists to come visit the West). My paternal Grandparents lived and worked at the Banff Springs Hotel (staff mostly lived in), and that is where they met and married in the 1920s.

The scenery was stunning. Thank you so much for taking us along with you. I live in Oregon and we have the Cascades and Mt Hood but Canada has a tremendous amount of Mountain Range, and looks like a place for avid skiing.

I grew up in far NW Montana, just south of British Columbia. Back in those days you could go back and forth between the US and Canada with nothing more than a drivers license. We went there almost every summer, camping and fishing and hiking. The Rockies are indeed spectacular throughout their long distance. Banff is a wonderful place and equally as great in the summer. Glad you got to experience it. I haven't lived in Montana for a lifetime it seems, so this brought back some wonderful memories. Thanks so much for bringing us along.
I remember when I lived in Vancouver, we often popped over for cheap gas!

The Banff Springs Hotel has the Royal Suites. Its been the Royal apartments since it was built. I believe they are now rented out but always ready for the Royal family.

Yes, that’s what I thought. Not chateaux, railways hotels. Been there. I must admit some of the carpets looked like variations on William Morris.

I grew up in Calgary. We used to drive to Banff on a Sunday to have Boston Cream Pie. I first dawned a pair of skis at Sunshine. Great memories. Have enjoyed living in Mexico for the last 16 years. Great to see you enjoying the area.

Beautiful countryside. I’m Canadian and drove to Banff in the late 70’s on our way to Vancouver. We stayed at the Banff springs hotel in the 70’s didn’t have to make a reservation then and it was very inexpensive to stay at the Banff hotel. Brought back lots of good memories for us , thanks . Canmore/Banff is a beautifu part of Canada. I live in Ontario and try to get out west every year. You are more likely to see elk out there than moose.

My husband and I spent our 40th Wedding Anniversary at Banlf Springs in 2005! They gave us a junior suite! The salt water pool was wonderful. Lake Louise was beautiful too. I skied and he snowboarded at both.

As a Canadian, we don't all get to visit places like Banff and Canmore. Canada is such a huge and beautifly diverse place. I've only been to Alberta once in my life, horseback camping in Banff National Park when I was younger. So thank you for sharing this part of our country with all your vlog viewers.🇨🇦❤🏰

I was awestruck by the views and the activities you shared from your trip to Canada to visit Matt and play your hearts out, Beth & Adrian, in the most gorgeous playground I've ever seen! I've seen some of western British Columbia, which is beautiful, but not the grandeur of Banff set in the Rocky Mountains with plenty of snow and ice still blanketing the massive, rugged, craggy peaks and the winding icy lowlands between them. Venturing out onto the lake in the car was a bit heart-thumping and scary with the appearance of what looked like a few inches of slush on top! Yikes! That kind of adventure is for braver or dumber (I can't decide which) souls than this 78 yr old grandmother!. But each adventure and all the sites you captured in in living color made for one very exciting, educational, and entertaining trip! Thank you so much for taking us along... it was so special and I love all the cute antics between Beth & Matt... especially the handmade headpieces &, of course, the hair-raising car-skating escapade on ice! ❤❤

Have you watched The Pethericks at their Chateau, they had Lincrusta wallpaper in the dining room i think, have kept samples in the loft and been to the factory in London.
If I remember correctly, they were quoted a $20,000 price to recreate it. It was on the fireplace wall in the salon or library.

Lovley weather we only really had maybe 4 snow falls this past winter ! Glad you had a great trip !

So happy, happy, happy for you, you are one of my favorite channels and I try not to miss any of your videos. Carol the wallpaper is just stunning. The color is wonderful, I love embossed wallpaper. I watch from Arkansas, USA and here in some of the big box stores you can get beautiful wide borders that are heavy embossed paper that you hang and then paint any color you choose. My husband used some between our crown molding and you cannot tell that it is not the very expensive wood. We also used it under the wood molding on the wainscoting it is also beautiful there. They probably have it in France at building supply stores.

Woo Hoo! Such a well deserved award! Your content is always so interesting and I've learned SO MUCH from just watching the two of you, 3 of you. It will be quite helpful when I start my renovation on my LOIRE LAVENDER BARN later this fall! ADORE Lincrusta and used it in a renovation in my home in OKLAHOMA in the 1980's and had a bit left over to use in a flat in Moscow Russia in the later 90's! Such a great product and Michael Petherick has been working with them to bring back a vintage pattern that was found in their chateau! Amazing! Cheers!
