    How does the first gear feels torque-wise after switching to a new sprocket?
    IMO, even the stock gearing has a little too low torque for a steeper uphils - considering that the engine won't provide any sensible torque before 4-5k RPMs.
    But vibrations above 100 km/h are driving me crazy, and high-rpm torque diminishes after 8.5-9k RPMs, so I'm considering new sprocket too.

      Thank you for your comment! This is my first enduro(offroad) bike and it is still fairly new(600km) so I really don’t know what it’s really capable of. I replaced the sprocket on the brand new bike because I took the word of many being disappointed how it rides on the road, I hate screaming engine. I’ve been off and on road testing it out and to me everything works. I might try out 46 in the future but I’m not going back to stock that’s for sure. Considering that replacing sprocket takes only 10-15 minutes max and price on JT sprocket on sale can be around 24€ I would just get different kind and switch them out accordingly depending on the conditions. If I go Tallinn-Riga-Tallinn (800km) I wouldn’t do it on stock

    Hey, have you had a chance to test how your bike rides with the new sprocket? I bought a rally a couple of weeks ago and was thinking of doing the same thing. I feel that riding at or above 100kmph feels a little disappointing. Wondered if sprocket change would help :)

      I got to ride only 16km this past weekend when I got a flat tire on a new bike! (Decided to order new rear tire, it’s on order.)Speeds I reached were around 70km/h with 4-5k rpm. I’m in run in period so 100+ will be reached after first oil change. Check my latest video

      But based on my short ride I would say Yes I did a right thing swapping the sprocket I’m more into endurance than motocross feeling

    I replaced my rear sprocket and found the allen head nuts too soft for even 40nm. Did you have any issues, I think you went for 50nm?

    • @qualifierone8899
      @qualifierone8899  Před 3 měsíci

      I did found them bit soft and one was about to slip. I guess it was because of low quality allen key bit I used.

      I did the right thing to replace it. Gives me more speed on the highway and absolutely fine off road. Might get next one 44 teeth when time comes to replace it

      By any chance? Did you measure gasoline consumption with stock sprockets?

    • @onuraydeniz8043
      @onuraydeniz8043 Před 3 měsíci +1

      Consumption little low but not that much. I tried at highway 85-90 km/h . Fuel consumption around 3.3- 3.5. It was 3.5 - 3.7 with original. I will back to stock because bike lost all funny torque feel😢
