  • Hi, I have owned the Voge 300 Rally approximately 18 months, and ridden just over 6000 km, 90% of this has been off road. Here I share issues that have come up for myself and also for some other owners. I will also share with you what I was offered as a Trade In price on the vote.
Hope you find the video helpful.
    Thanks for watching

Hi great video and a great insight,Mine had covered 500 mile and was ready for the 1ST service while ridding to the motocycle shop for the service the engine light came on,at the shop they said it was the temp sensor for the water cooling, still under warranty i expected them to replace the item but they just reset the fault,as a electrical engineer i said the fault would return which it did 100 miles later,it is now booked in again to have it replaced, the bike is so honest and i love it this has not put me off ownership though AS THE BIKE IS SUPERB..

Thanks for watching, this is a typical problem caused by lack of coolant in the expansion tank, have you checked it ? Glad to hear you are enjoying the bike, its a joy to ride 👍

Awesome video! I paused it where you showed service intervals and grabbed my book to compare and it's different :) I don't have a line about "first service at 500km" anywhere and table service intervals are 1, 7, 13, 19...37 I also have another manual (Polish version) and the table there is totaly different again :D giving service intervals every 4k km... Feels like dealers just set these to what ever they wanted...

Hi thanks for watching. That's very interesting. Why would it be different? I Don't trust the dealers to service it properly anyway but the manuals should read the same.

This was truly valuable. I am considering this as my first offroad bike for riding in Spain. So, just to be sure I understood correctly, you sold it for €1,500 less than you paid for it, and you rode 6,000 km. In other words it was €0,25 for each km of riding in devaluation, right? That is pretty good! PS Where in Spain do you mostly ride?

We spent 3 years riding in the Parque National, unfortunately bikes and quads are no longer allowed on the trails, but there are still loads of other trails to ride, we go into Sierra Gador, Baza and Filibres, we use Gaia Mapping to plot the routes, old AL roads, and twin tracks, enjoy exploring 👍

Hi there Lew, Himalayan owner here. I have a rdv to test a 300 Rally because I'm looking to do more off-road work. I've just been offered 3400€ for my Himmie so currently I will need 1400€ + bike for a new Rally. I'm hoping to bring that down to 1000€ then we'll have a deal.
I'm looking to do more in the Alps and Pyrenees, getting off-road as much as poss. Couple of questions please?
    1. My Himmie consumes 2.8ltrs/100 kms, what fuel consumption do you get from the Voge ?
    2. Where do you buy your oil filters from please? I like to buy in bulk.
    3. What weight engine oil do you use ? 5w-50, 10-40 ???
    Cheers Dave.

Hi Dave thanks for watching. I get 2.9ltrs /100 kms. I use the Hiflo 112 oil filter from Amazon. And the oil 10-40 motul from Amazon. Hope this helps. It's a great bike perfect for what you have planed enjoy and ride safe Amigo

I'm due to test ride the Voge 300 tomorrow.
My only concern is engine vibration at higher road speeds.
Usually, engines are smoothest at maximum torque revs, which is 6500 on the Voge 300. This, on test, seems to coincide with 60 mph.
How is the engine smoothness at 70, or 75 mph?

    • @ourspanishadventures
      @ourspanishadventures  Před 6 měsíci +4

Thanks for watching, at 70/75 mph yes it does vibrate, but not excessively, it is best suited for off road, and twisty A roads, have fun
