Maybe the fact that this year olympiacos doesnt have an MVP in their squad like last year is the key to win the title .The players love to play for the team even more than last year.Also their play style is different from other years and I believe coach Bartzokas knows exactly what he is doing thats why he is back to back coach of the year.
And dont forget olympiacos doesn't like to be the favourites,they prefer and they play better when they are the outsiders,they love it thats the DNA of the team being the outsider and doubting everyone when you dont respect them enough.

To doubt that this system can win you titles, when last year they lost the title in the last seconds, is inconceivable to me.
As an Oly fan I have been watching almost every game of my team and I must agree with the remarks of the last guy. Yes, qualifying through playoffs to the F4 is gonna be more challenging than playing in the F4.
If olympiacos doesn t have home court adavantage there is a huge question, who wants to play against olympiacos in the play offs? nobody wants to play against olympiacos in the play offs and olympiacos is a team who work better as an outsider for this reason i believe will go all the way this year.

Great talk guys, however there is one crucial word missing from your analysis about Olympiacos > DEFENSE. Never heard it once and maybe you should consider the best defense in the league an important factor when it comes to playoffs.

You had the exact same conversation with Clyburn and McCollum before last year’s f4 and you agreed with both of them that Olympiacos won’t get past Monaco because of the “absence” of an offensive leader like James. However, we all saw how effective Olympiacos’ defence can be, that even if they don’t perform well offensively as a whole, they stay in the game until the end. Moreover, there aren’t many teams that have as many experienced players with participations in important games as Olympiacos, which means that there aren’t many teams who know how to handle and keep the momentum in favour of them when they get it.
“Defence wins championships”. I didn’t say that, the Goat did.
And on semi final against Monaco, Walkup was voted MVP who had 0 (zero) points....
As an Olympiacos fan i do believe we can put our hands on the trophy this year.Our roster is fuller than last year's.Ok, we're missing sasha and sloukas,but in my opinion peters has replaced sasha very well and imo he is a better shooter than him.The biggest if is Williams-Goss.If he stops getting injured we are going to be even stronger.Walkup is getting better and better,Mckissic too.In addition I think we have the best frontline in Europe right now even without Milutinov(imagine what happens if he comes back).Petrusev and Wright have sticked extremely well to the squad.Isaiah is great on both ends of the floor.In general we have 13 good players that can play anytime.For sure a Euroleague title contender team.

My friend playoffs are the playoffs. You want to blame us for going 5 games against a full stacked team like Fener? Furthermore we dont need a clutch player. Every time the clutch player gets freezed. Now we have a lot of weapons like Peters, Canaan, Walkup, etc. And one final thing: Olympiacos likes to be the outsider so we don´t need home court advantage.

Real had 5 games too last season and should have been eliminated, if not for their mafia.

Peters is for this role for the last shot or shots but hasn't proved he can do it. Without leader you have little chance to win the euroleague,we saw it with real last year with their best team ever last 2 and a half minutes were giving the cup to real madrid ....

It's not that important. Can't remember when Olympiacos had a home court advantage and didn't have a game 5.
Thank you for sharing your opinion, but i would like to comment that you only talked about Oly's offense, while Bartzokas stated from the summertime that this year's Olympiakos will try to be a more defensive focused team and it seems they have managed to accomplished that on a very good level. Some claim that defense wins cups and medals, not offense.
On the other hand, offensivelly OLY still has 2 of the best shooters this year (Peters leads the standings across the continent in TPP), 2 of the most dominant centers in the roster ( Fall and Mili) that can bully most of the opponents, 2 very good PGs and a plethora of intermediate players, guards and forwards.
If they stay healthy from now on, with the assumption that is not too late already to form a basic/standard chemistry as a team, they can go al the way.

of course they can win the euroleague like if some teams figure out barztokas playstyle we have some players that can drive to the rim or shoot like walkup cannan peters and if these players miss we have hella rebounders like we have one of the best frontcourts in euroleague right now we have moses milutinov to put up the layup or dunk it like dont be suprised if we win this year beacuase a lot of people have counted us out like wait up until the playoffs and sure if we dont have home court we can win one of the first 2 games and then finish it in SEF and we will probably finish at the 4 seed

Personally as an Olympiakos fan,I would say that oly pao consumes energy generally,more than the euroleague final,this is something bad for both teams,but as an opponet if we do not get the advantage,I want us to play against pao as they are the weakest from the top 6(I mean fener on top6 not Virtus of course),because we can have advantage on physicality,plus in the paint what is lessort going to do or PAO in general with a rotation of milutinov,Fall and Wright,I believe they cannot win us in a series of games,they have somehow no depth and this one costs,of course anything can happen,but this is what I believe.As for winnng it this team deserves it but Madrid is capable on doing back to back,they are not good the last 2 months but it is the best team.
😂😂Pao has no dept? Pao has better roster in every position one by one. Little Less depth in 5 but Lessor is the best center now in Euroleaugue. Is is absurd to believe there can be 3 against Nunn Sloukas and Grant, Grigonis, Mitoglou, Huancho Lessor.....
Επιτέλους έκανα εγγραφή στο κανάλι σας. Πάμε να σχολιάσουμε το βιντεάκι. Συζήτηση αν ο ολυμπιακός θα πάει στο φάϊναλ η όχι. Δεν έχει καμία σημασία παιδιά , στηρίζουμε την ομάδα, την στηρίξαμε στα δύσκολα χρόνια και είπαμε "μέχρι τέλους" μαζί πάντα!!!! Δεν θα πάμε στο φάϊναλ οκ θα το προσπεράσουμε , αλλά η ομάδα θα πρέπει να μείνει πιστή στις αξίες της. Να παίζουμε το μπάσκετ του ολυμπιακού , το ευρωπαϊκό , όχι μηδέν πάσες και ένας σούπερ σταρ να σουτάρει ακατάπαυστα και οι άλλοι να κοιτάζουν. Γίναμε ξαφνικά όλοι αμερικανάκια , μηδέν άμυνα και επίθεση 5 δευτερολέπτων. Όμως θα το πάμε όσο πιο μακριά μπορούμε, πιστεύω η ομάδα θα τα δώσει όλα !!!!! Δε θυμάμαι στην ιστορία άλλη παραδοσιακή δύναμη της Euroleague να τελειώνει με ρεκόρ 1-9 σε όμιλο .
Olympiakos is a seasoned team with lots of "automated" plays. However, it lacks consistency and highly depends on certain players' psychology, as well as the way refs judge. So, all in all, it could, but it is rather unlikely.
On basketball, Olympiacos defeat Maccabi.But on Football,Maccabi defeat Olympiacos.

Only real can match olympiakos. With fall, milutinov and Wright healthy i can not find a team to compete them. Also defensive they can destroy any team..also offensive they are some players..peters, canaan,goss,mackisic..
