Probably the worst product from nanoleaf. Its just nanoleaf canvas with a bit more brightness. No thread, no matter, no adaptive lighting and 4 times more expensive
Another reviewer mentioned that when turned on from a light switch, the panels take over a minute to light up and over two minutes to connect to wifi. Did you also find this to be the case?
I think they look cheap when unlit due to the materials used and cheap at low to medium brightness because of the inadequate led placement/lens/diffuser combo. But they’re expensive.
Wouldn't be surprised if the lack of Thread and Matter - is because of the issues they are having with the Essentials range. Once they have ironed out the issues with those, then they are more likely to look to enable Thread and Matter on other supported product lines.
@@DavidM979 3.6.170 has been a game changer. I'm just about to update to 3.6.173, so fingers crossed the stability will continue. They have been getting much better throughout the beta firmware program, and we have progressed through Matter v1 which is the production firmware to Matter v1.1 and now we are on Matter v1.2 Trust me when I say they definitely want to get this resolved.
Hey greetings, big fan of your videos. I need some assistance. I recently upgraded from a iphone 10x max to a 15 pro max. I updated from cloud. On completion I cannot access my Home. Everything is unavailable except for all homepods saying configuring. This has been so a couple days. I have wiped and reinstall, rebooted, checked all setting, removed and re added homepods, logged out and logged into cloud again. I Dont know what else to try help, any suggestions?
Looks awful. Costs a fortune. Poor features, lacking adaptive lighting, thread. Also need to be able to export selective scenes to HomeKit, not all of them. Fiddly installation and cabling for extra panels. Hard no for me.
Considering the design of their other product, these look cheap (yet they are expensive) and pretty basic. id even say ugly. so safe to say they're not for me
Buy the Nanoleaf Skylight-

Yeah, it’s just too expensive and lacking in features to justify the price. I think I’ll wait for version 2.0 or for them to go on sale.

It is an expensive product and a big sell for most people
Nanoleaf has the problem with dark area in the middle. They have the same problem with the corner of the Elements product.
I think it’s because of the placement of the LED.

I didn’t experience any of those issues. When turned on they came on straight away using a light switch.
Why not thread?! Is there any similar product with thread from another manufacturer ?
So expensive, and no thread support?

Doubt they ever will. I’ve had issues with my essentials bulbs since their release. You get what you pay for 🤷🏻♂️

It it were more affordable and maybe had a “drop ceiling” adaptation I’d be interested.
Both the skylight and the T1 is disappointing on price

do they light up on like a normal bulb via the power switch on the wall?
Not meant for that I think but it'd work

No thread or matter in 2024 is silly.
Matter maybe, but Thread yes for sure

I wouldnt buy. Hotspot in middle and the fact that even with 3 squares, the colors are very bright.
That price too high for trash.
This is an unfinished product.
