I hope you enjoy this short video about Golgo 13. Not really what I thought I was gonna upload, but I realized I had this fully scripted out and it was just sitting there. So why not actually finish it? Anyways, I have a few longer videos that are in the works, so look forward to those. Hopefully won't go MIA for 4 months again...
I think you got the right angle for appreciating a film like this Golgo one - sure its all about gratuitous violence, some sex too, but its so random and dynamic that it makes a really fun watch, plus its really well animated. And a CGI work from 1983? How anachronistic! When was the first Hollywood film with CGI, Jurassic Park a decade later? Golgo 13: The Professional is just a part of history, can't deny it its spot.
For sure. It will always be an important part of the history of anime, whether you enjoy this type of movie or not. And the fact that it's a movie about a stone-faced guy who just kills stuff, is something that at least I appreciate lol

Story, characters, themes?
I have sadly not read the manga so I can't really comment on the differences between them
@@AnimeTopScholar Judging by the sales, it has to be an amazing manga. But it is too old-fashioned for me to try, and I am not a fun of this subject anyway.
