That doesn’t work my pencil is connected to the computer with a line so it doesn’t drop but it doesn’t get connected is is called unknown device?

Do you have any ideas why you cant buy that pen on the dell onlineshop anymore? If I go to the shopsite, there is a message saying that the article is not available :/ And do you know if the pen works with the new dell xps 13 2in1? The 2019 model with the camra above the screen^^

Hi i got this pen today but it didn't work on my laptop.. can u guide me how to connect it. my Bluetooth was connect with pen but it didn't let me do anything please help? my laptop is Dell inspiron 14 500 2in1 (5406)

On the Dell Website say that this Pen does not work with my Dell 2 in 1 5491, but I bought and works perfectly

can i use this pen on my latitude 9410 (NOT 2-in-1). I have 9410 touch screen but it is not 2-in-1
I'm not sure Dell sells a new ver of the pen maybe that one works on your laptop.

Impossible to unscrew the pen to insert battery. Don't want to risk breaking it by using pliers. Might WD40 be the answer?
I don't think using WD40 is a good idea is the pen new or used or how long has you had it.
Hi, thanks for the video. I recently bought the same pen, and although it has successfully paired with my device and buttons work, I'm unable to draw anything. Would you happen to know how I get it to work? Thank you
the laptop has to be compatible with the pen. when you press both buttons at the same time you will change the mode of the pen. cause the pen also works with Wacom pad. i had the same thing happen with me and i changed the mode with out realize it i hope this helps you and thamk you for watching my video. .
Ok, I see. I ended up just fiddling and eventually pressed enough buttons to make it work. :) I'm very pleased with it

Hi. Why is that, that you did not download any application, you did not "connect" your pen to your laptop and it still worked at immediately? My laptop is supporting this pen and still I cannot start to use it. Guide says I have to download an app from Dell's website, which I did but then the app says I have to first connect the pen with the host first. I am clicking, pressing, restarting and it is the same, I cannot use the pen. Can somebody help me to solve this problem, please?
well thanks for watching my video when you goto settings and under bluetooth does it show up on the list. Wacom the pen has 2 modes one for the laptop and the other is for Wacom tablet to change the mode you need to press both bottom buttons at the same time.

Turns out, an amazon customer has misled me with the comment that it is compatible with my laptop so I bought it, but on Dell's website, my laptop is not listed as compatible ones with this pen. So probably that is the problem. Thanks for the video and your help anyway!

I just a PN579X and the clicker on the pen works with a laptop but I cannot write anything on it is there anyone that can help me with us how do I get that to work

Does the pen magnetically attach to the laptop?
yes and no the pen does have a magnet on it and it will attach to the laptop but not on the side of it it. it will attach to the lid towards the front.. hope this helps and thank you for watching my video.

It would be super helpful if you knew how the pen works and what it does before you record a tutorial. Maybe also keep the camera on your pen during the entire time. I was able to save 15 minutes by just watching how to assemble the battery.

The most important thing is whether you learned anything from the video. Did you? I certainly did. He didn't pretend to know how the pen works. People so are quick to criticize.

AVOID THIS PRODUCT AT ALL COST! Dell does not provide substitute tips (which are fragile) in every market.
WORST than that DELL suggest just to buy a new PEN in case ....
In your best scenari they suggest to buy Walcom tips, and funny enough walcom takes more care helping you then them, but of course they can not always fill the gap of dell negligence.
mine is working fine and i do use it everyday and i'm happy with it. i guess time will tell.
