I really enjoyed spending time with you while you straightened your craft room. Boring jobs are always more fun with friends! All of those fabrics were so fun to ooh and ahh over. I particularly appreciated seeing the oak crown studio fabrics in lugana.
The Oak Crown luganas are REALLY nice!! I just started Au Fil des Nichoirs from Jardin Prive on Lurking in the Woods lugana and it is really nice! And the fabric is so soft and luscious, very nice to stitch on! 👍🙂

Thanksgiving, Christmas and kids birthdays take a slightly higher precedent than stash acquisitions. Thanks to your enthusiasm and parades, I've finally bought my first 2 Miras - Botanical Garden and Christmas Elf Fairy. I have Enchanted Mermaid, Nora's Boerum Decorum 'Beautiful', and Joan Elliott's Celestial Dragon and Time Traveler in my cart for next time 😳😘. ⚘️
Oooh! All of those are so pretty!! I can’t get enough of all the fancy ladies and Nora designs! I need to get my Joan Elliott back out too… I need more free time! 😂

Great video Catherine. Loved the Smurfs and the magic needle. I took love Amy's fabric. My favorite is lurking in the woods. Wouldn't it be perfect for Cathedral woods ? It is so nice to see fabric before you buy. On line pics can be deceiving with fabric colors. Getting to meet you was awesome. Really hope to get in next year. For my fancy ladies (and pretty much all of my stitching) I use MagEyes for magnification. It takes the strain off my eyes and generally makes me a happier stitcher 😂. Thanks so much for watching and supporting my channel! ☺️💕

Wow you did some major travelling. It is fascinating how the black is showing brown. I am also working on the angel but I am doing her on an orangish hand dyed. I am also very tempted to start full coverage or at least work on a full coverage. So excited about my first retreat and it is going to be a Mirabilia retreat in Brisbane next year.

I'm doing it for my Mum in remembrance of my dad and my sister, it's my emotional stitch, the verse tugs at me every time I read it, so I try to ignore the words otherwise I'd get none of it done. Another great video! I too have been eyeing the Until We Meet Again.....just afraid I'd be crying my way through it, as I lost my brother suddenly and find it hard to wrap my head around it. You have so many great projects. The Queen City Stitch Retreat looks like it was so much fun! Plus all those Nora Designs....WOW!
I don’t know if I could ‘Travel Stitch’. I can’t read a book while traveling so I think it would be the same for stitching. My cross stitch travel friend tried, and she could not stitch in the car either.
It’s tough! Yes there’s definitely the motion sickness factor… It sounds like a great idea during the planning stage of a trip but in reality not so easy 😂

I'd go with a dark red, green and blue for the winter house trio because it makes them all pop against the fabric 😊
