My son moved to DC after college. It’s such a great young person’s city…plus it’s a great place to visit. He recently moved back close to home and bought a house with his new wife. Working from home made that possible. Glad one of your daughters is close to home. Love the Disney piece. Pam
How nice that your son and wife settled close to home! I have hope that one day both of my kids will be close, but as long as they are healthy and happy I am glad for them to live anywhere. Gives me an excuse to travel and visit. 🙂

I seem to get a lot of pieces that my daughter has started and enjoy finishing them for her. It makes it so I don't have to sort through so many patterns I can just stitch with all of the materials there to use.

Your Spring Quaker is so pretty, Most of my stitching is full coverage and long term, just bought a couple of Carol Manning patterns which has one large pattern and 4 smalls in one. The small are only 81 x 81 stitches so one thread is 1% done which is so satisfying so will have to do a few more small patterns.

I just finished watching Lucky Chance the other night and she has amazing projects. It is hard when they fledge and actually leave the nest. I think it is both easier and harder when they are close. I've had my four an ocean away at times. Now they are all within 20 km. There are downsides to that as well (hey mom, if you are going to Costco.....) which I find are more than balanced by the joy of being able to see them. There is something also great about not working on so many projects that progress is elusive. The girl looks lovely.

It’s hard to tell sometimes… I will often do a Google Lens search on the art/cover photo and see if it shows up under an artist’s name. Or I check to see if any other patterns that are being sold by the same seller look familiar, like Mirabilia or Dimensions kit patterns. If the seller is selling a digital copy of anything else that looks familiar, and they are selling it for
