I really loved seeing your Sals. If I recall the diagonal squares did help a bit. The stitchy was being fussy back then and it woke your stitchy right up and said Uugh what the heck is that! Lol 😂. I actually loved your idea and the response the methodical mind took when it saw it done. I would have done exactly what you did without changing a thing and afterwards my brain would be looking at that piece going we need to stitch on this now to fix it. 😂 love your flosstube!

Wow, 50 new starts! I’m a serial starter so I know how that goes. I’m planning a year of progress next year. I may still start things but I also want to finish what I’ve already started. A year of finishes would feel really good, and having friends to encourage each other might be the trick. ☺️💕

I have a Soda Stitch (“Time For Myself”) that I’ll try to pull out in November at least for one day of stitching. I’m glad we are holding off on starting WIFF for another reason now. I picked up some virus so I’m feeling out of it as well as my arthritis has flared up. I did some organizing today (when I felt up to it) and the colors for WIFF are sure pretty! Good luck with your plans, you have some pretty pieces to work on. I love how we make all the plans and hardly ever stick to them. I have a finish and I am on to the next focus for a finish. So far I have not touched my planned full overage piece.
A few months ago I started my first full coverage, I really like it. I really like the look of the Christmas Shops. I looked it up and on the web site and under FAQ section it gives estimates for floss. What is listed on the chart is for 3 strands of floss doing a full cross on 14 count. Just thought you might like to know. Look forward to your upcoming SALS.

Wow, I was more listening than watching until you said 50 skeins of Black. WHOA MAMA that pattern is much bigger than it looks! LOL A couple of friends & I are starting a "New Year, New Beast" project & this definitely sounds like a good candidate :P
I checked the pattern again and it DOES call for 50 skeins of black, but then I also saw that it was listed as 50 if it’s stitched 3 over 1 on 14 ct Aida… so… I think it would be much less than 50. BUT… even on 25 ct over 1, the # of black stitches is 49,932 😂
