    Hey, folks! Welcome back to another exciting case study. In this video, we'll be discussing a patient who presented with severe constipation, bloating, and distension. Suspecting methane SIBO, we decided to conduct a comprehensive microbiome mapping stool test to uncover the underlying causes of her symptoms.
    Join us as we dive into the lab results, including the SIBO breath test, and explore the significant improvements and symptom resolution achieved through targeted treatments. We'll take a close look at the complete microbiome mapping results, revealing the patient's large bowel health and identifying key markers for inflammation and gut dysfunction.
    Discover the crucial role of short-chain fatty acids and the impact of low butyrate production on gut health. Furthermore, we'll discuss the patient's SIBO breath test, uncovering the presence of methane-producing bacteria and its implications for treatment.
    Find out the treatment plan we implemented, which included prebiotic low-FODMAP protocol, spore-based probiotics, herbal tinctures, digestive enzymes, and magnesium to improve bowel movements. Witness the patient's remarkable progress and the follow-up on her calprotectin levels, a key indicator of inflammation in the digestive tract.
    Join us in this informative journey as we shed light on gut health, bacterial dysbiosis, and effective natural treatments for constipation and gut inflammation. Stay tuned for valuable insights and practical tips to address gut issues and enhance overall well-being.

    I found organic ghee to be the best because it’s natural and rich in butyrate acid while being a gentle lubricator of our colon. It’s also high in Omega 3,6 & 9 (I personally don’t eat fish anymore because of the micro plastic toxins scientists have found in the flesh of fish) so organic grass fed ghee has been a gift in my health 🙏

    Hi Todd. Do you ever work with clients that have autonomic dysfunction - either as a root cause of digestive issues or as a result of digestive issues? If so, I wonder if you could make a video covering how treatment might change when the nervous system is a driving factor of dysfunction. Are there herbs that can be used to help the ANS?
    Thanks in advance.

    Very, very informative. Wish you were available to those of us outside your country. It's great to get ideas on how to move forward, though, and just maybe a person could run with this much "light" and more becomes available as needed. It's certainly complicated, but you sound like you have the experience to be able to say what has brought about resolution. I will attempt to incorporate concepts mentioned. It's odd; I have taken paying courses, and would like to take more. But never learned the specific information given out on your channel, free. I am more than grateful to have found your videos.

Despite several attempts to keep the bowels moving, I do get into the mode of constipation once or twice a week..watching and treating the inflammation markers in the gut than always worrying about fighting the archaea was insightful.Looking forward to the next followup video. how many grams of the high dose magnesium do you use, and what type of magnesium? I have chronic constipation as well and I'm trying to solve it myself because here in Brazil we don't have these kind of tests, only hydrogen sibo breath test. it's frustrating to know that I have these issues for so long but I can't reach out for someone that really understands it to help. most functional doctors here just prescribe something for IBS and that's it. I feel fantastic when I have a good BM but the problem is that I don't have them, I think it's the puzzle that I need to solve to get back on track again.

    I am just amazed with your work. I have constant heart burn no matter what I eat. I am guessing slow motility because it happens 2-4 hours after I eat. I have learned to stimulate my vagus nerve and that helps stop the burning. I just feel like my gut is inflamed. I do have a mold situation in my house that I am starting to fix. I have been on a low carb diet for over 6 months with no weight loss. I am about 75 lbs overweight and low carb has always been great for me. Thank you for the video, it is very informative and useful. I have a question regarding turkey rhubarb and magnesium. So I used turkey rhubarb and it really helped me. However I stopped after 6 days of it working (I had it for 20 days but at first lower doses that did not really quite do the trick) because I was afraid of developing a dependency on it. Not that I thought I would, I just did not know if I would. I see you have your patient use it for 2-3 months. I would actually like to do that. What worked for me was 1500mg a day. Is that considered a moderate dose? I would take 500mg in the morning and 1000mg before sleep. I never tried just the 1000mg before sleep, so I think there is a possibility that could have worked. I am also curious to know more about how you use magnesium too, what dose is ok, for how long, what time of day to take it. Thank you very much!

    I'm trying to heal my gut and methane Sibo all by myself, following your instructions.

My BM has been nonexistent and I want to try your special prokinetic mixture. I'm wandering,do you think it's histamine friendly -ish? What do you think about carnivore diet and Sibo? Thank you. Much appreciated

    • @ByronHerbalist
      @ByronHerbalist  Před rokem +4

      Thanks for your comment! The tinctures can be quite poorly tolerated by histamine sensitive patients. I’m still trying to work that piece out. Carnivore is quite intense and can lead to an imbalanced microbiome in some but in others is helpful. I am very cautiously open minded here.
