- A night under the stars, wild camping in the Lavvu. This is something I have been needing for a long time and finally had a chance to get out there. It was not all pleasure, the days were long off grid working days at the farm but we got one knight and a Saturday morning to ourselves. No other chance of accommodation so the Lavvu it was and what a pleasure it was to sleep in it. The night was amazingly clear and warm and the bannock warm and tasty with a dollop of maple syrup it went down well. It was Alan’s first time eating bannock and sleeping in a Lavvu and he was all smiles. We woke up early and cooked some bacon eggs and bannock for breakfast. The sound of the river soon got us to sleep and the views were just amazing. I included a recipe for bannock, hope you try it as it’s well worth a go.
Oh, that was so nice. A nigth under the stars is priceless!

buddy i get you this was my first time out in the woods and it was work related as i went to the farm for work. we camped out because there was no other option. i count myself lucky for the chance, all the best Alex

5 stroke wander scotland as I explained in the video it was a working weekend fixing water damaged house on the farm we did not go out our way to camp out but it was welcomed 💪 bee safe pal and hope it all ends soon
