- "DISCLAIMER" all of the products I have installed currently are prototypes to me and I am not promising they are going to work perfectly. I will most likely do many revisions before I'm happy with this truck. But when I am I will definitely do a overview and review of my truck and upgrades to fill you all in on how they work or don't work.
Today is the day. My ultimate CEN Ford F-450 upgrade overview is almost complete. It has taken me quite some time but I have dedicated time in and feel I am almost satisficed with the CEN F-450 and the upgrades I have installed on her, review is coming soon. Super cool build! Im building my own toe rig, for a beer cooler rv camper trailor. I noticed your steering problem after lifting, I would suggest doing a vertical servo and dropping it down a bit, it will turn the wheels better then the long arm horizontal, less flexing the steering arm. Can't wait to see that new trailor on the printer!

If you want it to go fast at all don't lock the diffs it will fill at every tiny little turn!!!Except for my crawlers I like how trucks with unlocked diffs drive and it's funnier on the trails and In mud because it's more of a challenge!!!

Do you know what everyone is spraying the inside of there beds with thatâs leaving a textured look I saw one on a video somewhere and canât find it now and do you know how long till the 5th wheel hitches will be up thanks bud
Thanks for the great videos and tips. I put the 100mm shocks on mine and added longer rod ends all around. Unfortunately the rear driveshaft is now too short. I moved the rear driveshaft to the front and now I am looking for a longer rear driveshaft that will work. Any ideas for me? Any advice would be appreciated.
Thank you for watching and your feedback đđŒ. Yes that happens unfortunately I don't at this moment but I will soon. I just purchased another F-450 to build so I'm going to be working on that and can do a video on it for sure. The truck in this video now has a full 1/8 system and drive terrain so it is no where near stock lol
The motor and ESC you put in that is the same I put on my racing buggy
Only issue I could see with the true locked diffs is breaks down the line of movement. axleshaft, driveshaft, etc. Great content tho, keep it up
Yes this is true but I personally haven't had any problems since the lockers. Way more problems of no traction before lol
If you ever revisit the custom dually wheels you should try putting a lil brake rotor in between the beadlock and the 3d printed wheel

Incredible scale truck diff and suspension is scale real working parts like a real truck like the diff and gears and planetary gears abd jb welded it like you would do to weld a diff up to lock lol

Hey I just bought the same truck and I'm pulling a gooseneck also did you have any problems with your motor ESC I'm thinking about buying the same one so I can haul my truck around
No esc problems but definitely motor problems. If you have some time look up my last CEN video. We caught the factory motor on fire lol. I'm testing a different motor/esc combo as we speak because I'm not happy with the performance of the hobbywing for my use. Will have an update video out soon after more testing.

They are Proline 1.9 BFG Mud-Terrains on a 1.9 Method wheel. Both from Amain hobbies đ

Hey bro you put the first diff back together with the gears all the same height and I followed your every move and then at the end I noticed you put the gears back how they were stock!! Not cool that you didnât mention you had to go back and take the first one apart to flip 2/4 of the gears... now my shit is drying and itâs wrong apparently. Hope it works out for me
Not entirely sure what you mean here, my truck operated fine and other have as well. This is an upgrade video not an exact instillation manual. I'm a normal guy and we all make mistakes. I apologize your having issues and hope everything worked out for you sir!

Correct they now do. But at the time the trucks first came out and when this video was made they did not. So we worked with what we had, will and determination đđ€đŒ

Why did you use Teflon tape on the shock threads? I've never seen anybody do that and those shocks seal with o-rings.
Because as I explain in the video those shocks have a big tendency to leak from that oring. So the Teflon tape prevents that and they don't leak đđŒ try it out!

I put 100mm shocks on mine frame sits to to right a bit on front and left a bit on back I removed rear sway control bar and front and rear link . Donât no how to make it even maybe the lift kit
Yes to have it properly aligned you will need to extend the center axle link coming from the frame. I make some mounts specifically for this that are for sale on our site đđ€đŒ

Looks cool but you should add a spacer between the duals. The tires shouldnt touch each other
No they shouldn't from a "true" scale form. But the way I connected the two wheels it would of been very difficult to add a spacer and balance the wheels with the available materials I had at hand. But it works great for me this way and I like it. Thanks for the comment have a awesome day! đ€đŒ
@@QuadeCrabtree the thing is that the tires dont get to flex over rocks and such stuff when the two side walls are together. You should look into having wheels 3d printed. A friend of mine printed duals for my wpl rc they work great. I do agree with you on changing the wheels that the cen comes with though, i also love the cen f450 but i dont like the wheels and tires either.
@@gabrielpichardo1492 so far she's worked and flexed just fine for me how it is currently but I appreciate the recommendation. Also refer back to the video, inside wheels are 3d printed ;) outside are metal because I like the look better.

Yes, ive designed and made a Adjustable hitch and am in the process of testing the prototypes right now before I begin to offer them for sale.

No worries, look in the bottom corner of your screen the next video you watch. CZcams included a volume bar that let's you change the loudness and even mute what's coming from your speakers. Hope this helps, have a awesome day man đ€đŒ
