Even though I don't understand or I wouldn't do a lot of the stuff he does I do enjoy the content. Staying true to what he does on the channel, unlike Paradox that went full carwash and detailing on us. I found him cause of Mayor, liked the build. It did get a little over the top for me with all the pricy and expensive purchases of shiny and custom made parts. But I was still interested, and then he to my knowledge still has not down what he said he would do with it and has not had a reveal for it. It is weird he "built" the truck but has done very little to it himself. That's what I admire about Dipping, he will jump head into a project after researching it.
Am I the only one who would rather my pipes and random things like alternator brackets NOT be powder coated? Maybe if they were just don't black I'd be ok with it?
Of course I also wouldn't want the stack off a D8 dozer through my bed either!🤣

I bought a 12v 95 single cab longbed for $2k. Runs and drives. It's sold on eBay twice. Once for 6250 and once for 4250. Still haven't been paid. Replaced every u joint, all ball joints, door hinges, painted the frame, aluminum rad, hoses genuine Cummins t stat etc. Buffed, polished, waxed. Body/ paint is rough. Zero rust. 1 small dash crack. I don't think you'll be getting 25k. If you do.... I'll gladly sell you this one.
What did you use to get the black off the door?
The 1st gen needs 3 breathers? If the blow by is that bad I'd think youd want to do a rebuild on it. Maybe im wrong i dont know a lot about cummins

How hard is it to do a 1 step polish? My truck has swirls and i want to do something to get rid of most of them. Is it also better to get a polisher or can it be done by hand?
You can get most out by buffing it unless they're deep. Don't go buffing unless you know what you're doing or know someone who can show you properly

Both nice trucks besides the bed stack which I'm not a big fan of personally, and though I'm sure they'll sell for 25k neither are actually worth that

I’m sure someone would pay that especially if he cleans it up. I know people who have paid 10 000 for rusted out single cab gmcs with gas motors just becuase that’s what the person was asking

Why cut down a flatbed? It's a farm truck. If I'm down 8" width wise that's less useful.
